Are you a Republican or a Liberal democrat?

A young teenage girl was about to finish her first year of college. She considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat but her father was a rather staunch Republican.
One day she was challenging her father on his beliefs and his
opposition to taxes and welfare programs. He stopped her and asked her how she was doing in school. She answered that she had a 4.0 GPA but it was really tough. She had to study all the time, never had time to go out and party. She didn't have time for a boyfriend and didn't really have many college friends because of spending all her time studying. He asked, "How is your friend Mary." She replied that Mary was barely getting by. She had a
2.0 GPA, never studied, but was very popular on campus, went to all the parties all the time. Why she often didn't show up for classes because she was hung over.
Dad then asked his daughter why she didn't go to the Dean's office and ask why she couldn't take 1.0 off her 4.0 and give it to her friend who only had a 2.0. That way they would both have a 3.0 GPA. The daughter angrily fired back, "That wouldn't be fair, I worked really hard for mine and Mary has done nothing". The father slowly smiled and said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

A boy is hitchhiking on a country road. A car stops for him, and the
driver asks, "Are you a Republican or a Democrat?"
"Democrat," says the boy, and the car speeds off.
Another car stops, and the driver asks, "Are you a Republican or a
Democrat?" "Democrat", says the boy, and the car speeds off.
This happens two or three times, and the boy decides he's giving the
wrong answer. The next car that stops is a convertible driven by a beautiful
blonde.
"Are you a Republican or a Democrat?" she asks.
"Republican," says the boy, and she lets him in.
But as they're driving along, the wind from the open top begins to push
the blonde's skirt higher and higher up her legs. And the boy finds himself
becoming aroused. Finally he can't control himself any longer. "Stop!" he
hollers. "Let me
out! I've only been a Republican for ten minutes and already I feel like
screwing somebody

Just read where the dude at ImClone got some prison time

"Samuel Waksal, the founder of ImClone Systems Inc., was sentenced on Tuesday to more than seven years in prison for orchestrating an insider trading scheme the judge said undermined confidence in corporate America"

Now if Martha gets jail time as well as some others rumored at a couple other companies do you really think Hilliary can resist running in 2004? You know her and slick already have their calculators out siphering how much each pardon is worth.

Im surprised a few more have slipped by. Seems the republican ones have escaped jail time so far. This guy and Martha look like little turds compared to the Texas connection.

The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Kaye from GA. The guy should have run for President.....

"We, the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid any more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional. . .. We hold these truths to be self-evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim that they require a Bill of No Rights."

ARTICLE I! :
You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II:
You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc., but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be ... and like the rest of us you need to simply deal with it.

ARTICLE III:
You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy by telling them they didn't warn you not to stick the screwdriver in your eye.

ARTICLE IV:
You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V:
You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we should be wary of public health care or public anything.

ARTICLE VI:
You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair (yes, capital punishment).

ARTICLE VII:
You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV, pool tables, weight rooms or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII:
You don't have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of part time jobs, education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE IX:
You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness-- which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an overabundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights,

ARTICLE X:
This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you are from. We welcome you here. English! is our language and like the one you left behind, we also have a culture. Learn it or go back to the country and the living conditions you were fleeing."

If you agree, share this with a friend. No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't. I just think it is about time common sense is allowed to flourish --- just call it "The Age of Common Sense."

No kidding....i said in another thread that I don't go around running like a Viking or a Hun (my two cultural heritages)

So why should we have to be so "sensitive" for everyone else's culture???

Do they want me to go get long blond locks and start raping and pillaging??? Is that embracing my culture???

No....I speak English and so did my ancestors learn it when they got off the boat. We were mixed into the melting pot. Now all of a sudden....its everybody for his own culture. The melting pot is no more....

Unreal....

That is why I like my change several years and Presidents ago to a independent. We do not have to kiss up to anyones ass. We are the silent majority. We have to have our ass kissed to get our vote. Just the way it was meant to be by the founding fathers. If we can keep it this way. We have a chance at this wonderful country standing for what it should. And the two term presidency is one of those built in for our protection. Nothing is for free. There is a price to pay for all. The day this country slides 51/52% one way or the other. And stays there with out challenge. We will all be screwed.
