one smart and cool man, the liberal press was doing everything they could today at the White House briefing to back him into a corner with accusations and he just blew them out of the water one by one::: It was an Awesome display of knowledge and class::

I met him at a wedding in DC on New Year's Eve this year and we talked for about 20-30 minutes. He is a pretty cool guy. He was just another person at that wedding unless you knew who he was. No snobby air to him at all. I think he does a great job as Press Secretary.

He says what he is told to. That will keep him in his job. Those who dont follow the line will fade from the lime light. It has happen in the past. Rule 1 your party line is this. Rule 2 same as 1. It works for both parties or else good by. He has it down well.

The difference Djv is he ANSWERS the Questions instead of dodging, deflecting or just blatantly lying as the past Admin did::

I forgot her last name but that old witch "Helen" and a cohort tried to Hammer and anvil Fleischer and he just subtly humiliated them with the facts, she shut her hole in a blink:::

My ass he only says exactly what he is told, he doesn't know all the off the wall Qs that will be fired at him, the way he responds is not someone who has been coached what to say::

He better not stray to far from the line with his off the cuff remarks. Lies oh yes how our government can twist facts. Please dont tell me its only the left that does it. You would belittle your self and you seem to intelligent to do that. The Man is Good I said that. But watch the questions close. When a answer comes that, what if Iraq does disarm. The next question seems to alway give the opening to change the subject to, we need regime change.
Thats when I say witch is it. It seem so strang if all weapons are destroyed it may not be enough. Then we here he may leave the country, then what happens. Lots of tricks going on with the words that we here. I know for those who are 100% sure they got the 100% correct answer. We have never got that answer yet. By the way whats a right winger like you doing in a huge Lefty town like Madison.

God he has enough practice!!!
At this time in his fathers Presidency GB sr had 7 times as many pres conferences as his son.
Anything that Bush says comes by way of ARi.
Why?? Because Bush cannot speak off the cuff.
I don't fault him, I can't either. lol
He just comes off alot less smarter than he is when he talks.

So Cal
I think "W" gets short-changed too often as people assume he is a moron. I would remind you that his SAT scores were higher than Bill Bradley's, and Bradley was a Rhodes scholar. we could have had Al Gore calling the shots, but Gore failed to complete Divinity School and Law School. I admit he doesn't come off as smooth as Kennedy or Clinton. But he does have an MBA from Harvard and my guess is that didn't come without some brains. I also laugh every time he tries to say the word "nuclear". But I also laughed every time JFK said "Cuber" for Cuba. Bush probably, maybe certantly, won't make the top 10 list of presidents. But he is not as stupid as many claim.

Ari is the member of this admin I like the most. He seems quite clever and I enjoy his banter with the press, but he's not above dodging something when he gets backed into a corner (usually while defending something stupid that "W" said).

Anyone see the tape of George Bush calling on the black woman at the press conference last week BEFORE she raised her hand? She then went on to ask him how his faith is getting him through this crisis.

Talk about a script and a planted question. Holy crap.

W is not smart. Anyone who is smart or rich can get what he got on his SAT's. And those scores don't get you into Yale. They don't even get you into Brown.

Maybe the SAt's wont get you in to those schools. But if your daddy went there you get a free pass. Thats for anyone not just Bush. I would say he's smart for not getting into the public air waves to much. Bush knows his short comings. He likes off the cuff. But that can get you in trouble. So He's playing it right.

What gave that away? The equal distributed questions form each sex, fron each race, and about each subject matter OR the answers being read from the teleprompter?:D

...ever noticed when Bush is thinking about a question he looks into the screen like a rat with a full bladder?..

Clinton?

I'm not a big Clinton fan but youv'e got to give him credit where credit is due. Bill was a great lier. He could stare into the camera and pour his heart out about anything.

Pro- your'e off base with that one. Clinton may of looked like Jimmy Swaggart preaching, but the man was good at it.

Blazer where in the heck did you get that. Just about busted by gut LOL. It is something how we can have some fun with our officials. Clinton was good real good. Another guy not a president but he was real good was Oli North. The way he stayed out of prison was his smooth talking.
