we all know that it has never been a scoring machine.............but all year it has been keyed by the great RUNNING of QB Matt Jones. I've seen his LEGS take games over.
Jones needs to use his gift of size and speed and run more option keepers. He can easily rush for several big plays against this Gopher run defense.
Jones should have more keepers in the 2nd half........if not, I SERIOUSLY question Houston Nutt's motivation, intent, and play-calling.

Jones looked as slow as I've ever seen a QB. A few times D linemen had disposed of their blocks and actually waited for Jones to pick a direction before they would nail him. Tired legs from the get came from either over work or under work but he definitely looked slow whatever it was....:shrug:
