UTEP +43 over Texas **

Texas loaded after such a disappointing season . A stud qb in Ehlinger and a big time freshmen running back in Bijan Robinson. a sleeper slot back or wr in often hurt Whitington and transfer Black from Michigan. Hermann has 7 new coaches with a good off coord and Ash from Rutgers as his def coord. Hermann is on the hot seat this year with signing for the 3rd straight year top recruiting classes and hasn't won anything..UTEP is 2-22 in last 24 games Hermann said the other day on the radio everyone is playing since they all a free getting another year of eligibility.. he will sub and play maybe 3 qb's after a big lead Texas should dominate but think they win 45-10 and just come under the number If Texas wanted to they could win 55-0..small play

UTSA +7 over Tex St **

Bobcats coming off a strong performance vs SMU last week . UTSA is fighting 7 players with the virus but has a stud rb McCormick who I think could be a problem for the Bobcats defense. Also a dual threat qb Tx St with its qb McBride and 2 rb's that did well vs Smu defense. Think the Roadrunners keep this close Its the battle of I-35 since its a hour and ten minutes bus ride from each other. Going to the game again so hopefully get a few **'s boxes back after last weeks loss

Army 17.5 over UL Monroe ***** top play

UL is fighting the C-19 virus,a hurricane ,a new def coord after the last one quit 2 weeks ago. and a new qb making his 1st start replacing Evans a good qb who graduated .. and to play Monkens Army who just dissected a MT defense with his running attack. McCoy who is 5'9 240 scored 3 td's . Anderson did a nice job in his debut at qb. They didn't have any turn overs and Armys defense stepped up and although Army is loaded in the back field they found a freshmen speedster in Robinson ..with there inside attack with McCoy and company Anderson runs off the right gd after he fakes it to McCoy and pitches out to Robinson and he's gone UL will have 9 guys inside trying to stop McCoy as Robinson turns the corner and is gone....UL top WR is out and top DL opted not to play this year. Last yr UL did see an option team in Geo Southern and lost 51-29. Army runs a better tripe option.Think they will have problems the minute their defense takes the field.

Army is out for blood after last year. And the corp of cadets will be at the game not like the Midshipman .. Army wins this by by 4-5 td's

Earlier in the week you took Texas -41 and Texas St -6. You also had Iowa State as 4 star pick.
Change you mind or just buying them back?
Good luck today.

I made a small play on Texas -10.5 in the 1st qrt **

after living here in Austin this entire winter, spring ,summer and now fall have been drinking the Longhorn kool aid Hermann is so overrated as a coach.. blamed everyone else for last yrs record Fired 7 coaches ..players today will not sing " eyes of Texas " He keeps recruiting top players but I like what TCU's Gary Patterson said after beating Texas 37-27.. I would rather have a 2 star recruit that plays like a 4 star, then a 4 star that plays like a 1 star...ouch that was a direct hit at Texas. But Herrman hired a big time off coor and is going to let him call the plays. he aslo hired Ash from Rutgers on defense. Texas was so predicable last yr rushing 3 guys and dropping 8.. Iowa St,Baylor,Oklahoma TCU qbs had all the time to find open wr's and won all those games.. Then Texas struggled with Kansas winning 50-48,Kansas St 27-23, and Ok St 36-30.

Think Herman has finally realized he needs to stop blaming everyone else and look in the mirror..He has a strong rb corp led by soph Ingram and Bijan R will be a future Rickey Williams. Not starting today and is a backup but after about 5 or 6 carries will start the rest of the season. Strong, built and quick with a stutter step. Look out B-12 Bijan is coming to town also my favorite player Whitington who was a running back, now wr or slot.. He needs to touch the ball and everyone needs to get out of his way. Was hurt all season last yr.. hurt some today but they say he will play..he has some Barry Sanders moves..

UTEP has its hands full today.. just think +43 might slip in.. but if everyone was playing their A game Texas wins 65-0 but with subs and 1st game think Herman lets off the gas pedal a little.. Problem is many 2nd stringers are better then Miners 1st teamers.

Army line has moved up but think it doesn't matter.. Going to the Tx St game.. last week I wanted to be an hour early to the game .But again for the 1,000 time got central time mixed up with eastern time and showed up 2 hours before kick off. Had a season ticket on the 40 yd line and they put cushions down for season ticket holders ..sat maybe 20 feet from my nearest fan .. was so safe.. when I parked in the parking lot a guy in a golf cart saw me and drove me to the stadium gate.. My buddies in NY with season Giant tickets for 2 generations ever get picked up by a golf cart and have cushions on your seats. Life is now down here .. But miss Michie stadium and the corp of cadets march in.. and then the Army sky divers jump from helicopters about 3,000 feet and deliver the game ball to the 50 yd line with the refs waiting. anyway good luck today

Lowell the lines changed so much
I switched and took UTSA +7 and took +43 UTEP { but every time I switch my original play wins
Iowa St -11.5
Sorry I got Army early and now its up to almost -20 ...
I like Brock Purdy from Iowa St.. to me he is the best player in the B-12. and there coach is probably one of the best.. and their rb Hall is a monster.. and a wr who I forgot his name. I watched them last yr beat Texas 23-21 Campbell out coached Herman ..
