Growing up in Charles City,Iowa i was born a Hawkeye fan with no pro teams in the state. Being a paid handicapper, it's my duty to be non bias and never allow my heart to be involved. This was a game i was going to go to until they discovered the drug house two blocks from the iowa campus and now Iowa's top two wide receivers and top running back are suspended for this game. Iowa's offense was'nt all that good at the end of the season anyways. Iowa is down to there 4th and 5th string running backs for this game, and 3rd and fourth wide receivers. Stanzi is a good quarterback and then Iowa has that old wiley veteran defensive cooridnator in Norm Parker, that when given a month to study a team, there is no one better as illiustrated in last years bowl game when the #1 offensive team in the country in georgia tech was totally shut down in Iowa's underdog win in the bsc bowl game. This years defense has a strong defensive line with 3 of them projected to be playing on Sundays.
I see this game a defensive battle in the first half. Missouri will be running draws, screens and quarterback runs to keep the line from Iowa honest. Iowa's offense will be trying not to make mistakes and play a field position game and let there defense come up with a big play. As the game goes on, Iowa's week special teams will again let them down and Missuri's offense will keep Iowa's defense on the field too long again, and will eventually wear down this Iowa team who has under performed all year. Iowa has a great coach, and great fans . But the smart money should be on Missouri. I got Missouri by 8. 21-13 in what should be a conservative offensive game for both teams and Iowa's mistakes and poor special team are the difference in the end.

MISOURI -2.5 big
IOWA UNDER first half 23.5 big

good luck guys ARROW:toast:

Nice write up. Professional handicapper from Wisconsin, got to go with ya on this then.
Like the first game more but agree Iowa just wants their season to be over.

Wow, this has to be the first time ive seen go against Iowa in a bowl game. I think your right on though, this Iowa team team gets rolled tonight. Think this one breaks open in the 2nd half and goes over too. Good luck with the first half under though.

didnt see your response about bill yesterday until now.
I dont think he will get anything for it, but bluff magazine gives it out, hes like 50 thousand points ahead of the next guy. Hopefully somebody gives him an endorsement but thats probably the best case scenario.

I didn't know you won up in minny this fall what event ? You always were pretty lucky lol.

The "drug house" is a little farther than 2 blocks from campus--more like 12 blocks. I lived in the same block as this duplex while a grad student at Iowa in the mid '80s. You also mean the top two running backs are out for the Hawkeyes tonight--Robinson is suspended for not going to class and is expected back for the beginning of classes the middle of January. Hampton wasn't going to play anyway due to the torn ACL.
Like both plays and the under for the game looks like a winner, too. Good luck tonight, Arrow.

2nd half

2nd half

Iowa line is tired, and they were very fornuate to get a 60 yard pass play and a 70 yard run on offense. I look for Missouri to take control the second half.

Missouri -3 5 dimes
missouri over 13.5 2 dimes

good luck guys. ARROW

wow

wow

Coach Ferentz of Iowa , thanks for having class and kneeling down the last play on the 6" line. As you helped me make a unlucky game into a 10,500 swing in the positive as missouri covered the second half -3, that was close! If Gabbert does'nt throw that pick 6 it could of been a huge night, but feel lucky anyways, See ya all tomorrow :toast: ARROW
