made it to the 3rd day at the main event in the no-limit hold Heartland Poker tournament. Down to 30 players and i am middle range chip stack, so i will not be on later.

i like these four teasers today.

Today was the 3rd day of the main even, of the heartland poker tournament.. I was setting pretty good with 18 players left and the payouts started at 14 places. I raise with ace ten of clubs in the 7th position, and the big blind calls me. the flop comes 5,8,10. I bet out 25,000 and the big blind re-raised all in 87,000. i call knowing he didnt call my raise with j,q.
He turns his hand over and stands up and says nice call, i was trying to get some chips, diidnt think you would call. he shows j,4 off suit. and reaches for his coat and backpack as the dealer rivers me with a jack.
I would of had 417,000 in chips and could of relaxed and gotten very deep in the final table i believe.
That crippled me and i had a pair of 3's with the blinds being 5,10k and 500. blinds so i had no choice.
The same guy calls behind me with 7,8 suited with 5 players left to act behind him,lol
He flops a 8 and i am out of the tournament. So poker today is the farthest thing from my mind. lol

Yesterday i lost a 200,000 pot with pocket kings as two people went all in with ace,queen. all small cards and no suit flopped but the ace hit the river,lol, another two outer hit the river.lol just made me sick!

after i busted out from the tournament

after i busted out from the tournament

i went to the room and rested for a hour and headed down to the cash game. was a wild bigger no-limit game and the average money on the table was about 3-5 dimes per person. the second hand i get pocket fives and put a small 200 raise pre flop. i get 3 callers and the flop comes 592 rainbow. I check in 2nd position and the loose goof at the end bets out 600. the 3rd seat calls and i raise to 1700.00. The goof goes all in and the other guy folds and i of course happily called. the turn was a 9 and the river was a queen. he promptly rolls over 9,q for a larger full house than my 5's full. I picked up the 400 i had left and quitely went up to my room. Sometimes like fotball, you get in with the best, and come out smelling like hog shit. 3 beats in 3 days was enough for me. :sadwave: I'm headed out to work tomorrow. Thank god i won money in football today,lol
