Silicon Valley billionaire funding creation of artificial libertarian islands

Details says the experiment would be "a kind of floating petri dish for implementing policies that libertarians, stymied by indifference at the voting booths, have been unable to advance: no welfare, looser building codes, no minimum wage, and few restrictions on weapons."

I saw this yesterday, Wayne. The thing I found humorous was thinking that they are building these huge islands in/above the sea, but they are for looser building codes. Not sure I'd want to live or work in the middle of the sea with that in the back of my mind every day... :)

Yep, have hammered through and will have completed my degree (hopefully) in 3.5 years - full loads the past three summers have made the difference. Currently at 3.74 GPA, need 3.75 for Summa Cum Laude. Can't say it's been easy, all things considered, but looking forward to this last year and student teaching in the spring. Hopefully will get to coach some while student teaching, and will again help with the summer Legion baseball team next summer. This year will be crazy busy for us, my son is a senior in high school, three sport athlete and will also be working some. Never a dull moment around our house... :)
