Wow, very hard to believe that the books would let that kind of action get so slanted in either game.

Senor, I believe you have said in past that these numbers come from one company which owns a few books OFF the strip, correct?

Senor,

Gotta admit that those #'s make me a little nervous w/ my bets, but it is still early. Questions:

1) What % of action is already in?
2) Do you have any idea how these #'s are ATS this season?
3) Can you update us as we get closer to kick off?

I am on both favs, and even though I am not changing my bets, it does make me scratch my head a little. The books cant get buried on both games, that is why I ask the questions above....

Shoot, I thought the action was not so one sided. Obviously the fav lines have gone up, and I did catch them early...Sunday night w// DJV, but those #'s are kinda YIKESY to me.......

On the lake. Setting hooks!
No way the books get beat on both of those. Bodes well for tampa..

This makes no logical sense to me. Why can't that happen? The books have no control over what happens gametime. It's a total misconception that all books win in the end. They make their money from the Vig. If they were capable of winning all the time. They wouldn't need the Vig. Just my thoughts.:D

Absolutely correct Smoke.

This misconception that the books want money on one side or the other in these types of events is ludicrous. In games like the NFC/AFC Championship and the Super Bowl the books take so much action they cannot afford to play a hunch. IF the books do take more action on one side of the line it is to hedge against futures bets that already have been played.

"Traps" may be set occasionally of the book has some inside info on the Marist-Canisius hoops game where they feel good about one side or the other. Why? Because there is little action on the game and they can afford the loss if they are wrong. In the NFL playoffs, the books don't take sides. They want a 50/50 split and free juice on all that action.
