got to say I'm with you layinWood, I like Oakland chances with Clemens going. I have been a Clemens Fan since he came up in 86. Undoubtedly he will get 300 win s & 6 Cy Youngs, and will go down as one of the best right handed power pitches ever. But he has always struggled in the "big games". Last weeks hamstring was reminiscent of his mystery blister in 86 when he asked out of game 6 in the world Series against Mets. Clemens is a relentless worker & strongly relies on emotion unfortunately in these big games he seems to get to wound up. I have seen it again & again from that game in 86 to the umpire Terry Cooney ejection in 90, to his melt down at Fenway in 99 in the playoffs.

I guess you don't remeber but I didn't sleep through class. I can't quite remember those days but I'm pretty sure I didn't even make it to class. Damn drugs, sex and rock n roll. As far as the game goes I believe your visions have been cloudy, must be some bad peyote you picked up last. I'm pretty sure the correct vision would have been of the rocket limping off the field with his head buried in his hands. Anyway I have already seen the NY Times for tuesday morning.
