The great run on this stock maybe near the end. I would say for those who want profit's now and do not want to wait for it's next big run. The next time it hits 40/41 you may want to sell. It has problems ahead of it.

Housing is slowing. That is not good for pluming or A/C business. Big commercial building is expected to slow in 06. That hurts the large A/C equipment sales. Truck sales for larger trucks with anti brake system in Europe are slowing. That hurts brake division.
Some budget cuts in Research at Trane can affect product line of future. My info comes from good source. Estimate cut at 35% to 40%. Folks let go last 5 years over 30000 but they need who's left now so no easy fix by job cuts. Trane loosing many good trained sales people with fight over compensation. At this time number not accurate but estimate more then 60. This hurts because it takes over 18 months to have a salesman producing in this type of field. And those who left are going independent and selling compition products. These guys have the contacts and they will take business away from Trane. Dog's I guess I would just be careful. The great run up and with the split. Just may have capped any large run up in near future.

djv from what I hear you are right on. A lot of sales and service people leaving and taking business. It is still a strong company but big the run is over. Will announce earning on the Jan 31 and they will met the adjust mark so stock should go up then level off. ADS also allows a 20% employee diversification a year so a lot of stocks could be in play at the beginning of the year. I still like the company long term but the BIG returns look like there over.
Thanks DJV --Something to think about--bought intially for their China connections as you know--I noticed every modern toilet system (most still have the porceilin bowl in floor or trough)is made by them--remember you telling me they have plants with joint venture with china there. Its been a good run and lucky timing--might have to put the ole stop loss in effect.

Well so far bad news has not stopped stock from getting back to 40 range. I still don't know what it has after the 41 mark. Fred Posses is done I believe in 12/13 months. Said that will be it for him. Now this could be a play for more bucks if stock does well. The huge run up all came under his direction. And mkt seems to like him. So if he keeps his word and goes. That could also affect amount. It might be worth hanging around to see what he does. That is if stock stays above 39. Then sell if he does leave. Just a thought.
