I have the game as a pickem local and houston -115 offshore. Just wanted to get some input. My first thought was stay away? But when I can get either team as a pickem? Thought I would ask for help?
Astros/L.A? Any info on this game??

sd6: saw that you had them at +105. Also see that bigguy.com consensus has many people on L.A. That is the other reason I have not pulled the trigger yet. Any reason for Houston? Thanks for the help
i dont like la because of the sweep theory. also how much more can the dodgers win without karros and an injured sheffield in the lineup. the main reason is in the last 10 games, houston's bullpen era is 2.30 while la has a 5.32 houstons avg. vs. righties is 24 points higher than the dodgers. the only thing i dont like about the matchup is elarton. he has a whip of 1.61 i see runs scored in this one which means it will come down to the pen where houston has a distict advantage.
birdman i wouldn't trust that bigguy.com had a friend who used that system worked for awhile then lost for awhile it is very streaky. i like la in this one don't want to sway you in any direction but feel la is the way to go. gl
i went w/la due to elarton is 4-4 as a favorite and has a era of over 6 on the road on the other hand dreifort won 2 of 3 from houston last year just think more value is with la in this one gl
Thanks for all the information. I decided to stay away from the L.A. and Astros game, and it was probably a good thing since the game went into extra play. I did play the under in the detroit W.Sox game, and am holding my breath as it is in the bottom of the 7th 2-1, 2 outs, bases loaded?
AND HIS OUT AT THE PLATE!!!! Watching the game on ESPN. Got the house to myself so I am enjoying the game and having a Miller Lite. I need the under to make up for my assinine bet on the spurs today.
