ARIZONA (Saunders) +120 over LA ANGELS (E. Santana)

The Diamondbacks are fighting their way back in
the NL West (7-3, +$415 in the last 10 days) and
they shut down the Angels's offense in last night's
series opener. They have a pair of quality lefties in
the rotation, including tonight's starter Joe Saunders,
who checks in with a 3.48 ERA in 12 outings. LA has
lost money vs. southpaws (-$700 overall) and they've
not gotten much out of Ervin Santana (-$755, 5.51
ERA in 14 starts). Arizona has turned a nice profit
vs. right-handers outside of Chase Field (+$780). We
like the visiting underdog to make it two in a row.

Philadelphia at Toronto (3) 15th, 16th, 17th

The Blue Jays are holding their own in a very competitive division, and they have a chance to improve their position in the standings with a strong showing vs. the beleaguered Phillies at Rogers Centre. The visitor is in another horrific tailspin (2-8, -$860 last 10 days) and their situation appears increasingly bleak. Roy Halladay is injured, Cliff Lee is winless, and their run production, particularly vs. lefthanders has been anemic (6-11, -$770 with only 3.2 runs per game). Ricky Romero has led them to wins in 5 of his 6 starts at home, and we like his chances in this series. BEST BET: Romero
