Well I gotta tell ya that I am REALLY hard pressed to make a serious bet this weekend.
I think the remainining 4 teams represent quality football( most of the time) and they deserve to be where they are, although the Jets may feel different(but their "O" only got 3 points for them.
I think I'll play 'a little' taste on the UNDERS in both games ( and the weather IS NOT what I am basing my decision on), I expect to see TONS of rushing the ball, very safe high percentage plays.
Saying that, I think ANYBODY can win either game as the talent level is there!!SO, in my thinking,if everone is close to even on talent(O.K. I said CLOSE) why not take the best price available to win the Super Bowl. I know if New England beats Pitt. they will be -7 1/2 I would hazzard a quick guess if they were facing Atlanta in the Super Bowl. This is not a bet that has any size to it,it's more for a 'little interest' in watching Atlanta hand it to the Nervous(CHOKE) Eagles. I could see Philly hurting themselves a couple of time ,and if Atlanta can capitalize,Philly may have shot themselves for ANOTHER YEAR !!! With this in mind, I would now be getting 6 to 1 on ONE GAME -so what the heck, the Ol Spankster says let's bet a 'fewbucks' and enjoy things whatever way they go_One point,I have found I refuse to bet so much that I start yelling and screaming on some stupid ass play- sure I might mutter aloud, but boy I used to be really stupid sometimes. :mj07: Anyway ,I like the priice, but I sure would'nt bet the ranch on it.
Serious Plays UNDER in BOTH games. I know the weather is getting worse, but the lines have been adjusting all week.I also bet 'a taste' UNDER New Eng./ Pitt. the 1st half @ 17 1/2
RUN.Run. And moreRun..
Good Luck Guys and hope you 'see' these 2 games better than I do,as I said, I think ANYBODY CAN WIN in both these 2 games.. :) :) Spanky

I've been looking at the Philly/Atl. game quite a bit and I have looked at a few things.
We (I) have been looking at this game as a comparison of what Vick and McNabb are going to do today to win this game. Wrong, in the fact that I spent way TOO MUCH time doing this . This game is a DEFENSIVE BATTLE..Will Michael Vick run for 119 yards like he did last week-NO !!!Look back 2 years and we see that Vick ran for a "paltry" 30 yards, and the Philly "D" is ,in my mind healthier and stronger all around (Jevon Kerse) better. These Eagles were second in the league in sacks ,right behind Atlanta (Coleman and Kerney). This ,to me spells pressure any time the Q.B.'s dropback.
Although Vick and McNabb have 'grown' with more maturity on the field, I really do not expect either one to be given much flexability on plays that are sent in.And I expect the pattern of plays to be on the conservative side to say the least.
I stated I already liked the under, but upon looking at the Defense on both teams,I think I have to step in a little more . I cannot predict who or how many turnovers are going to be, but given an equal playing field, I REALLY LOVE!! the UNDER.
UNDER Philly/Atl.@ 36 (A 5 UNIT play,which is a darngood size play for me)..
Good Luck today Guys, and put a beating 'on your man'... Spankster :) :)
