The Seattle SuperSonics look to make it four straight home wins when they host the Atlanta Hawks tonight.
Seattle are 24-31 SU and 26-28-1 ATS overall this season. They have played well and covered their two games since trading future Hall-of-Famer Gary Payton....losing 106-101 at the Lakers and beating the Pistons 96-89 at home as All-Star shooting guard Ray Allen led Seattle with 23 points in his first home game as a Sonic. Seattle have won their last three games at KeyArena by 7, 30 and 9 point wins against the Pistons, Bucks and Knicks...the Hawks are worse than any of those three teams.
Atlanta have poor SU and ATS records at 21-37 and 23-35 respectively. They played tough at Portland last night before losing 89-86 but have struggled to put together consecutive strong performances. This is the 5th of a marathon 7 game road trip for the struggling Hawks and their 4th game in 5 nights so fatigue could well be a factor late.
The Sonics have won four of the last six in this series and those wins have been by an average of more than 10 points.
We're confident Seattle can get the cover here....expect them to pull away in the second half and post a comfortable double-digit win.
Recommended Play: Seattle -7
