ok, I did the housecall thing, and I came up with 5 different viruses

BKDR_SINIT.A
TROJ_MUSS.A (4 times)

The problem is that the first "can't be accessed" and the other 4 are "non cleanable". I was afraid to just delete them, but is that ok? Thanks.

Have you removed the above trojans/viruses? if not let me know and we'll go from there to have your cpu cleaned.

For starters, have you scanned your cpu with Ad-aware and Spybot?

Please follow these instructions...

Before you scan with AdAware, check for updates of the reference file by using the "webupdate".

Then ........
Make sure the following settings are made and on -------"ON=GREEN"
From main window :Click "Start" then " Activate in-depth scan"

Then......
Click "Use custom scanning options>Customize" and have these options on: "Scan within archives" ,"Scan active processes","Scan registry", "Deep scan registry" ,"Scan my IE Favorites for banned URL" and "Scan my host-files"

Then.....
Go to settings(the gear on top of AdAware)>Tweak>Scanning engine and tick "Unload recognized processes during scanning" ...........then........"Cleaning engine" and tick "Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion" and "Let windows remove files in use at next reboot"

Then...... click "proceed" to save your settings.
Reboot.

Then go to
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/index1.php
clcik on

security.kolla.de to download spybot.
Install, then scan your cpu.

Delete found items. Reboot

Then scan your cpu with this program.

I'm on my way to school, let me know what happens. We'll have this repaired by tonight. Should be back around 8pm EST.

KMA, I don't understand those "easy fixes" on the links you provided. I understand H2 antagonists, proton pumps, genetic markers, and traumatic brain injuries, but I don't understand that.

The fix is explained step by step at the bottom of the page, just scroll down after reading about each topic, I can help guide you through it if you want but it is pretty easy. Let me know if you need more help.

Spybot is good what they had to offer in the way of philosophy makes sense. Spybot catches things that Ad-aware doesn't. Both of these programs are free and as near as I can tell, their sites don't send data miners out into my machine, some of the other sites promoting their "spy" cleaning software do. So the short of it is, if it works for you great!!!
You're not going to get them all, these two programs do require frequent updates, which is an easy process. Any site you go to has the potential to put stuff on your machine. MSN, for example, who injects you with their cookie bots when you check hotmail. But at least you'll know when you clean them out youstart fresh every time!!!
