Two picks for Saturday:

Auburn -20

Am I the only one that thinks this line is waaay off?? I first saw the game and thought -30 at least. What the hell is going on here?!?! Seriously. The bulldogs failed to score on their home turf against a SC defense that was brand spanking new. Give me one reason why they'll score vs. Auburn? Oh wait, and their QB is ailing. I understand that Auburn got off to a slow start last weekend, but remember Irons still had 186 rushing and a TD. This game very well may be a shutout. Otherwise, I predict a 45-7 type game. Load up!!!

Vandy +15.5

This spread shocked me as well. I'll probably lay off this game considering bama is my alma mater, but it still looks like a good bet. First off, Vandy always plays the tide close. I'm not a big believer in trends so let's ignore that. Next, Bama is very young and imo not capable of *big* blowouts, yet. Case in point, week 1 vs hawaii. Additionally, Vandy looked pretty impressive going into the big house and putting up a small fight. Again, I'm not betting against the tide but that point spread looks waay too high. Maybe a 3 game teaser with +25.5...

Good Luck!!

As much as I hate to admit a Roll Tider is right, I must in this instance. :142smilie

Great value in both lines. Also, MSU's only offensive producer last week---the running back---broke his finger in practice yesterday. And as we all know, their starting QB broke his collarbone in the firts half vs So Carolina so the back up QB (a redshirt freshman) will get to face a plethora of Will Muschamp blitzes.... :scared

Last year with a semi-experienced QB, Miss St scored the following in SEC games: 0, 10, 7, 9, 7, 0, 10, and 14 (vs ole miss). AU covers in the first half... runs the ball 90% of the second half and the clock flies by.

As for bama vs vandy, vandy covered a similar line vs Michigan and will cover again (although vandy loses). Much value here IMO.

Agreed. I figured the MSU line would be over 30 by the way it looked last weekend. I go to State and threw the rest of my whisky drink into a crowd of fans and walked out of the game it was so disgraceful (at least I had the under too). Heard Corso say today States offense is the worst hes seen in 10 years. And as much as I hate him, hes right. This line is soo far off, it makes me suspicious. Maybe Vegas just missed it-thinking SEC vs SEC with State at home, but good Lord, after last weekend, keeping AU within 20 would be a moral victory for the boys.
Love Vandy + the pts. too by the way.

Hey samayam,

Well in any event I have a lot of respect for Miss St and Sly Croom (although he is a bama man). He seems to be doing things the "right" way and Jackie left State in a serious bind.

I've been to Starkville many times.... Good luck the rest of the way, just not this weekend bro. ;-)

I'm also interested in the UGA SC game. SC showed me absolutely nothing last week. I know historcially the UGA SC is a close game but I'm liking the road fav more and more...
