I am just now seeing this line and show Austin Peay -1. I admit that I haven't seen a ton of games in this conference over the course of the year but watched both semifinal games in full.
My take is that Morehead St. shut down a team yesterday with one excellent player and four average at best players. They dominated the glass and got so many extra possessions from it they were able to control the game.
Austin Peay used relentless defensive pressure to dominate the game against Murray St. I was skeptical taking them since they had already beaten Murray St twice during the year. I know the crowd doesn't really matter with these small of schools in bigger arenas, but they had tons of fans in attendance.
After looking at both team's full season results, I was shocked that Morehead St has beaten Austin Peay twice. From the looks of last night, I think Austin Peay is much more experienced and should be able to box out the guy who killed UT Martin last night. There defensive pressure and solid offensive sets should be too much for Morehead.
I'm thinking of making a very large play on Austin Peay -1. Any thoughts??
