race results: 4-6 :(

overall: 5-8:(

What can we say? It was the crazyest weekend of handicapping i've ever seen in F1!!! All the hard work has been thrown away yesterday by mother nature and today by the big crash:shrug: Could have been 0-10 as much as 10-0. A weekend to forget unless you have luck on your side... Minardi and Toyota in the point  Who would have thought????

Let's hope in two weeks we could see a weekend not based mostly on luck... Hope you've been luckyer than me!:)

How willl they grade that first car to retire bet? Ouch.

I guess they have to divide the bets by 7, so if you had Jordan at 6-1 you now get 6-7.:p

Here's WSEX rules :AUTO RACING MATCH-UPS (professional)
Both drivers must start the race for action.
The driver with the best finish placement will be the winner

This one should be based then on the positions on the starting grid... Oh Man what a headache!!! I will do a recap again of my results tomorrow when i'll get all the rules from each others!..;)

Apologies for gloating but unlike most I was cheering for non-finishers - good decision to use safety car:eek:

UK match bet rules are usually that if cars complete same no. of laps then bets are void - all 0 laps in this case so bets involving two of them are void - not sure how Arrows fit in here as they were disqualified

Anyhow, scores on doors:

Qualifying 1/1

5 or more teams to have no finishers - Won 10/1
10 or less cars to finish - won 2/1
Webber 18th or better - won 5/6 (50/1 to be in points - missed it:mad: )
Frentzen + Heidfeld in points - lost
Race Matches 1 win 1 void 2 lose

All do nicely for me - roll on next time! Props are where value are for me these head to heads are too messy
:)

the land of confusion
I'm with you Hoss... sometimes the simple ones are often the best .
- Shumacher to win (after showing that last years car is still superior)
- 10 cars or less to finish in the first race of the season was too tempting (mind you a huge crash on turn one helps!)
- Raikkonen to finish top 5 ( driving one of the better cars and lucky to avoid the carnage)

Missed on Raikkonen to out qualify Coulthard (who knows if it hadn't rained)

I think it can be to easy to be seduced by too many individual driver match-ups. Keep it lean.

It sure does seem like a good proposition this Formula 1. Mind you I'm sure it won't be this easy all year. :)
