oop's lone star.looks like 1 mile oval with 7f shute six degree banking with 930 ft stretch.turf is 7f oval with 11f chute and a 900ft stretch also banked at six degrees.just a guess but corners may be a bit tight for euro shippers.may also not be used to texas wheather?looked at a few charts looks like at most dist. on pace speed doing well.not to many deep closers.

Good chance this place is going to be a sauna on Saturday. Rain in the morning then heating up to 80. If you look at the gulfstream results, not one winner from Europe until 1999 when Daylami won. In 1999 at gulfstream and 2003 at Santa Anita when the temperatures were high an enormous number of longshots hit the board. Expect more of that. It's estimated that a quarter of all horses suffer from some form of anhydrosis and there is also evidence that a difference in the climate that a horse is exercising in compared to the climate it was reared in can increase the likelyhood. What does all this mean? Probably a couple of huge payoffs, and most definitely the Euro trainers will be moaning like they have sand in their snatch.
