Not a pretty performance at all. The lines got really abused which I never would have expected. Vince didnt look good either so Heisman race, what was left of it, is over. Could have ended all this in the first quarter but the pick and halfback td meant it would be a game. But I will take the win every time.

Not sure how much one can take from this game but it was certainly troubling. But all the top teams every year have clunkers. See how they rebound this week.

Threw a wtf play out there on Nebraska which looks solid. I was thinking Kansas tomorrow but now ISU may be plkaying for the North title. They blew it last year in the same spot. If Huskers win I will look real hard at ISU tomorrow.

I would add that what I heard at game is McNeal was not out because of his injury. Apparently he and Fran had a "TO moment" and McNeal responded by skipping a team meeting. No doubt that helped inspire the team behind McGee.

mcgee was the spark that kept a&m in the game. mcneal did the team a favor. that effort gives them something to build on for next year.

Texas has all sorts of talented athletes but Mack Brown vs. Pete
Carroll in Cal. for the nat. Champioship has me liking USC in a big way? What do you think Sun?

I will tell you who took a beating, anyone who bet in game, taking Texas by the quarter, and 2nd half, waiting for the "blowout" that never happened. I followed the whole time, waiting for a quarter line 7 or lower to lay HUGE cash. Kept seeing a 7.5 at my book, and refused to play it. Lookin back, I'm pretty glad, b/c alot of people lost ALOT of money chasing Texas today.
