Made a note way back to hammer this one hoping for less than
2 TDS as Okie St pasted wimpy Kansas and Baylor big time..
Saw this at another site and copied as Jimmy D is more literate than I,thanx Jimmy...I live in Tulsa (please no comments on our football program as I am eating breakfast) I saw Stoops reaction
to Miles comment trust me, this will be ugly...

OU -14.5 @ OSU. -- Known here as the Bedlam series. History lesson. yr 2000. In the last game of the yr, OU ranked #2, on the last play of the game, S Roy Williams (now with Dallas) tips ball away in end zone to preserve 6 pt victory for OU @ OSU. OU goes on to destroy FL St. for the national title. OU was like a 14 pt fav. 2001. OU fav by 27 @ OU, again ranked #2/#1, everyone totally assumes OU going to play for national title again. OU off takes day off, OSU def steps up, OSU 16-OU 13. Only 2nd home loss in Stoops era. Major upset. Knocks OU out of Big 12 championship and nat. title game. Summer 2002. Coaches dog & pony show around state to enthuse alums about coming yr. Tulsa. Both appearing on same stage here. HC Les Miles (OSU) (who, by the way was picked over Larry Coker of Miami, and Coker really wanted the job and when he lost, went to M of Fl instead), asked about close score of game from previous yr says, "We should have beaten them by more". HC Stoops (OU) sitting on stage all a-quiver, looks like he is going to get up and deck Miles with right cross.(shown on TV). HC Stoops gets his turn to talk, can't hardly control himself, cuts everything short, has major rant next day about OSU chicken-shit program (reported in all newspapers) refuses to have anything to do with OSU thereafter or even speak about OSU. So this isn't about Revenge, this is about KILL the M-F SOB's. OU & Stoops have been looking forward to this weekend all yr. OSU & Miles, who tried to applogize, have been dreading this all yr. Locker room bulletin board material. OU has plastered it all over the place. OSU has told everyone to keep their mouths shut. Now, my take on the game?? OSU won't score, the def will take care of that, much as ISU & Tx Tech. OU off to score as much as they want, and 70 wouldn't suprise. They will run it up in the 2nd 1/2 after wearing down the OSU def. 70-0? Not likely, but you get the idea. I believe OU to cover 35 and throw out any stats or books. This is to be a real blood letting.

I THINK THE SAME...OSU WILL BE DESTROYED......POSSIBLE SHUTOUT......GLTA HAPPY BIRD DAY....

OSU

This is their biggest game of the year. Oklahoma State will not get shut out. They play well at home and are on a nice roll. I will take 2td's in almost every rivalry game. Everyone will see last weeks game against Texas Tech and Hammer Oklahoma. The truth is that Texas Tech plays terrible on grass and is a poor road team that cannot play defense. Oklahoma is only 3-7 vs the spread at OSU. Oklahoma has played only 4 road games all year an unimpressive game at Tulsa where they were only up by 3 at the half, a seven point victory over Missouri, a loss to Texas AM, and a blow out to Baylor. Their defense on the road versus the only 2 quality teams they played they gave up 31 and 24. Against those teams they gave up 405 and 449 yards in each of those games. Oklahoma States only loss at home was to UCLA and that was when the Bruins were completely healthy. I am not stating that your play is wrong but it is closer than the 35 you are predicting. If Oklahoma wins 70-0 I will never post anywhere again. Good luck to you on all your plays this weekend.

Greed...Tulsa game OU played vanilla...did not show anything, did not have to...UCLA game I saw....men against boys...UCLA toyed with them; look at rushing yards OSU gave up to BAYLOR
Motivation is everything in this game....believe OU comes to play...a lot of seniors will not forget last year.....OU had problems with Missouri because of mobile QB...OSU QB is pocket passer..
OU loss to A+M was too bad, great game by A+M QB and loss of concentration on part of defensive secondary ...Texas Tech smoked
OSU and in turn was smoked by OU...think Stoops and troops win convincingly...gl

Don't forget, OU was on the road for their game against Texas...Also, I believe OSU goes to a bowl regardless of the outcome of this game. Go Sooners...

Looks like Bob Stoops was not able to motivate the troops. They are happy to let OSU embarrass them for the second year in a row. Not much heart in Soonerville!
