If Lowe is suspended and they are effective today, how come I still see him listed as starter for tonight?

If Lowe appeals his suspension, he could pitch tonight. Just the wonderful process of baseball suspensions.

Better yet. If you like Texas, bet them now without pitchers listed as the line is sure to drop if someone else starts for Boston.

Good point but I think they are going to appeal his suspension so he can pitch tonight. I just thought they would go ahead and serve them out so he will be available when they may REALLY need him later on in the season. I can't imagine them winning the appeal. It was pretty obvious if you ask me and I am pulling for the Sox to knock off the Yanks.

How do you guys feel this will affect the total?? I took the over, even with Lowe pitching at 9....you guys think it'll go up if he doesnt pitch?? Will my bet still be accepted if he doesnt pitch. (as you can tell..still a novice sports gambler)

it depends on your book. some (my local) don't care who starts, whereas most books you are playing who's "listed". If Lowe doesn't start, I wouldn't be suprised to see your bet returned to you and listed as no action.

You should ask your book or check before gametime to make sure your bet is still on.
