I've been doing ALOT of research on this game. The more I research it , the more I like the RAVENS. I CANNOT believe the line opened up at Baltimore-1, and it RIGHT NOW sits at TENN-1. that my friends is ALOT of NOODLES on the TITANS here. Everyone knows how much $$$$$ it takes for VEGAS to move the line when just about everyone is on (one side of a game). NO NEED for me to EXPLAIN. But read on , and some of you will be surprised. This DOES NOT mean it will win, but I sure like my chances here.
I was surprised to see how much of an edge the Ravens have. They hold an edge in points allowed. Only 7 NFL teams fell into the above average (points allowed) category this year and the Ravens were one of them. The stats also show that they certainly know how to run and they know how to defend against the run as well. Tennessee's sole statistical edge comes in its passing game. It's air McNair or it's home we go and wait 'till next year. While McNair has had a banner year in some respects, one can't help but notice that Baltimore seems to know how to defend against the pass. (5.3 yppa against). One rather troubling stat for Ravens fans is their "turnover differential". This team has had games where it has excelled at taking the ball away from opponents, and it had games where it gave the ball away like presents at Christmastime. They OBVIOUSLY cannot afford to do this in the playoffs. One FINAL stat that I LOVE here.!!
"Home playoff Dog". Home dogs in the playoffs are rare occurrences, but they are 11-1-1 since 1982! OUCH!!!!!!!
Do you hear someone BARKING.?? I DO..!!!!!!!!!!!
