I'm with you on Bama, but a lot of people like Vandy on this forum. Some of them really good cappers. Bama need this game, but it won't be easy. Vandy will be a well prepared team and they are an improved team. I would have a hard time making it a big play for this reason.

Good Luck

Bama was clicking last week versus WCU but that was WCU. Vandy will be a suprise to alot of people this year in that they are a very well coached, well disciplined team who will keep this game close if not win. I honestly like over the total in this game but if I had to choose I would take the points and buy the hook to +4. Good luck!

I have already taken Vandy, here is my rationale...

#1 Vandy has 9 back on O and 7 on D

#2 Bama only won the game last year at home 13-10

#3 I love home underdogs

#4 Public is all over Bama

#5 Bama didn't win a single road game last year, now they are favored?

#6 Nick Saban doesn't have his players or his system quite yet in play.

#7 Vandy has some nice talent on Offense.

Could be wrong, it's still Alabama, but I'll run w/ this underdog on Saturday.

No disrespect to the Commodores but anyone else a little puzzled at how a team that went 4-8 last year is supposed to be this monumental test for Alabama?

I'm not saying Vandy isn't capable -- they certainly have the wins in recent years to prove it is. But two of those big wins (in 2005 against Arkansas and Tennessee) came against teams that went on to have losing records.

Vandy may win Saturday but I think the Commodores will have to have some help from Alabama -- such as turnovers or penalties. Otherwise, Alabama should be 2-0.

Vandy should have won the game last year at Bama, why can't they win it at home this year?

Alabama didn't win a single they weren't suppose to last season in going 6-7.

Last season a 13-10 loss by Vandy and the penalties were EVEN 30/28 yards and Vandy had 4 turnovers to Alabama's 3 turnovers.

Not sure Vandy will need help to win this one.

Too tough to call because recent stats say play Vandy at home, but logic says play Bama.
