Hey Everyone,

Was wondering if anyone here knows anything about baseball cards (have some other sports, but mostly baseball)? Where can you find the value of the cards?, and where can they be sold if any value to them?

thanks in advance,
Blue Jay

I believe there is a guide called Becketts (spelling) that gives monetary value to baseball cards. I know nothing about the subject.

BlueJay,
Collected for about 20 years before selling off 90% of my collection a few years back. Tanner is right, go to your local bookstore/magazine rack and look for Beckett Baseball, or Tuff Stuff (all sports) if they have it. I believe you can also use beckett.com as well to look for prices.
Whether or not there is any value depends on your definition. Take whatever price you see in the magazines and reduce by about 50%, that is what you can expect to get for them. If you want to move large quantities I would suggest finding a dealer or going to a cardshow. If you have many 'nice value' cards, I would suggest Ebay as an option as well.
Get my e-mail from Jack if you would like, based upon what you have I may have a few suggestions.

Im a big card collector. Beckett is really the best price to go for, but if your looking for like top quality cards, sometimes go by Ebay and see what they are selling for. The best is to have them graded by PSA, but they do charge to have them graded, but if you got some good rookie cards or old cards, I would recommend having them graded. I only buy good cards that have been graded.

OOO can I have the gum out those 78 wax packs?

JK .. you should easily be able to get rid of those. As long as there no signs of tampering.

Good Luck!
