I can't wait. By far my favorite sport to cap. So many games. Nothing better in the world then a noon game at Wrigley in the middle of April with the wind blowing in and it's 36 degrees.

As baseball season approachs I have heard many people say that baseball offers the best wagering of all sports.

Why is this ?

I would be interested in hearing the reasons. I have never wagered on baseball and am real unsure of myself as the season approachs... What should I be working on ?

Any info appreciated !

i really am going to miss football :(

Thanks

I am sure the people around here are great with baseball so just wait till season starts and their will probably be some great writeups around here everyday.

The moneyline is what makes it great. Not like NHL with the huge spreads (-170 +125) but a 10 cent line (-130 +120). Teams tend to be streaky; Just stay away from laying -175 and worse. That is the road to ruin.

As much as I love Wrigley, you can have those 36 degree April days w/the wind blowing in from the lake. That wind goes right thru you.
