Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on this site. Lets roll and make some loot. I have a question for anyone who can answer it. I recently did a $300 if bet in base ball( not an if reverse). I had the giants which were $160 for $100 and I had the yanks which were $200 for $100. The giants won, but the yanks lost. My bet was yanks if giants. Even though the key team in the if bet, which was the giants, won, my bookie said it wasnt a push like I thought it should be. He said its not the same as football and he said I lost $300 on that bet. He said I won $300 on the giants part of the bet but lost $600 on the yanks part of the bet. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if thats how an if bet in baseball works?

If you had "IF the Giants win then you win that game and the bet goes to the next game (Yanks). You lost that game so the string ends there, even if you had more if bets. If you have a string of say 5 IF bets, it keeps going until you lose the first game then it stops, but that loss IS counted.

I like IF bets when I'm not going to be home and have a lot of games I like. It keeps you from getting your ass kicked too.:D
