3 solid plays for tonight
MIN/CHW - Under 9.0 - both pitchers faced each other last week in a low scoring affair. Reading weather reports which say it should be somewhat cool tonight with the wind blowing in. Both are tough GB pitchers who should keep the hitters timing off all night.
SEA/ANA - Under 9.0 - similar to the above listed play as Franklin and Lackey squared off last week. Lackey has been impressive since the middle of August and in 21 IP this month has given up only 3 runs. Also, he has only walked 7 batters in those innings showing much better command. ANA offense is struggling and Franklin should hold them at bay for another night.
Bos -1.5 - usually I would tend to fade BOS after two consecutive losses to end the BIG series. Wakefield has pitched well at home and this one should get ugly. Looking to see if BOS can sweep setting up this weekend's possible fireworks.
