-The Brewers come into this game winners of 3 of 4 and start LHP Jose Quintana who is a nice 7-4 on the year with a ERA of 3.50. Quintana has been ever BETTER on the road this year, going 5-1 with a 2.36 ERA away from home. In addition, Quintana has faced the Nats 3 times in his career allowed 0 runs and only 7 hits in 21 innings!! Washington starts LHP Mitchell Parker who is just 2-3 his last 5 with a high ERA of 5.93. He is a lackluster 7-10 on the year with an ERA of 4.91. He has already lost to the Brewers this year, giving up 7ER's on 8 hits in just 4 2/3 innings. Finally, the Brewers hit better against left-handed pitching while the Nats his worst against LHP.

Please check back later for more plays.

G/L to all.................

-Tonight, the Blue Jays return home for a long homestand where they play very good ball checking in at 37-17. Tonight, they start RHP Kevin Gausman who is in excellent current for going 4-1 with an ERA of 2.51 in his last 5 starts. He is excellent at home going 4-2 with an ERA of 2.93. In his last 3 starts vs the Royals, he has allowed ONE earned run on 13 hits in 20 2/3 innings, allowing just 1 HR. the Royals come into this game with starting pitcher Michael Wacha who has been terrible on the road going just 2-5 with a 5.25 ERA. In the other game it's basically a complete fade of the Giants who have lost 6 straight, scoring just 12 runs in the process (an avg of 2 runs a game). Starting pitcher Robbie Ray has been erratic of late going 0-3 hist last 3, giving up 9 ER's and 10 walks in just 16 innings pitched. The Mets start LHP David Peterson who is a nice 7-4 on the year and is a perfect 5-0 at home with an anemic ERA of just 1.91 and SF is terrible vs left-handed pitching, hitting just .215 wit h a record of 4-11 vs left-handed starters.

-Gonna take a shot at the big underdog here. Marlins starter Janson Junk has been very efficient this year, going 5-2 with a nice ERA of 3.18. the Yankees are not a good team on the road, going a very mediocre 26-27 so far this year. NY starts lefty Carlos Rodon who has been questionable as of late going just 2-3 with an ERA of 4.23 his last 5. He is just 4-4 on the road this year.
