- I'm not one who normally puts out a GOY. But, I think this game warrants it. The Padres come home for a 3-game series against the Dodgers. The Dodgers are a very pedestrian 16-16 on the road this year, while the Padres stand at a sparkling 20-10 at home. San Diego starts Nick Pivetta who is a perfect 5-0 at home this year with a 1.69 ERA, while LA starts Dustin May who is 0-2 with an ERA of 5.44 on the road. On top of that, LA i just 1-4 last 5 against San Diego. This is a battle for first place in the NL West, and tonight, in front of a sell-out crowd, San Diego gets in done.

it's not a pitching duel is it? c'mon u Padres!
An absolute brutal loss on my GOY. Padres lost in x-tra innings, blew 2 leads, and basically stopped hitting after the 3rd inning. I thought i had this one nailed and I'd make the same bet again. Just didnt work out this time. Sorry for those who followed........I'll get it back!!
