ChiCubs RL +143
-We went with the Cubs RL yesterday and we're gonna look that same way again today. Chicago hit EIGHT home runs in yesterday's 11-3 rout and have now won 4 straight games and 7 of their last 9. They are also 17-5 L22 at home. The Cardinals, meanwhile, have dropped 4-straight and are still not hitting, scoring just 3 runs in those 4 games, including 3 shutouts and were shutout twice by the Cubs on June 25-26. St Louis' starter, Matt Liberatore has an ERA of 5.14 in his last 5 games and lost his only career game against the Cubs in Chicago. Cubs RL is the play here again today.

Toronto/Philadelphia +152
-Toronto has won 6-straight, are 30-16 at home and have overtaken the Yankees for first place in the AL east. Toronto starter Max Scherzer won his last start vs the Yankees and is a perfect 3-0 lifetime against the Angels. Philadelphia, meanwhile is 8-3 their last 11 games at home and are 28-16 overall at home this season. The Phillies start one of the best pitchers in the game this season in lefty Ranger Suarez. Throw out Suarez first start of the season, and he's 7-2 and has only allowed more than 2 ER once in all of his starts this season. Suarez also has won his only other start this season vs the Reds, giving up 0 ER and only 2 hits in a 7-0 victory. We see both of these 2 teams cruising to victory at a nice underdog price.

Houston +125
-Both of these teams are 8-2 their last 10, but the difference here is the Astros' Framber Valdez. Houston is a perfect 10-0 in Valdez' last 10 starts. including 2-straight shutouts. He hasn't given up more than 2 runs in any of these 10 starts. He is 2-0 his last 2 starts vs the Dodgers, including a 10 k shutout of them last year. The Dodgers are probably still stinging from yesterday's 18-1 beatdown in which their starter lasted only 3 IP and their bullpen used extensively. Dodger starter Ohtani is probably only good for 2-3 innings and it becomes a bullpen game for LA. On a side note, Ohtani is 0-3 lifetime vs the Astros. This is a very live dog.

Detroit -135
-Cleveland has lost 8-straight. Detroit pitcher Mize has won 3-straight and is 8-2 on the season with an ERA of just 2.86 with Cleveland's starter Logan Allen has lost 2 straight and already lost to the Tigers 5-0 back in May. very rare for me to play a favorite above -130 but this game should be a winner.
