-The Brewers took the first game of this battle between MLB powerhouse last night 7-2 and I like them again today. They start RHP Quinn Priester who is a robust 13-2 with a 3.22 ERA on the season, but looking deeper, he is actually better on the road with a 5-1 mark and a 3.18 ERA. In addition, he is a nice 4-1 during the day. Meanwhile, Toronto will start RHP Kevin Gausman who is 8-10 on the season with a 3.87 ERA. He is only 4-4 during at home with a 4.00 ERA and struggle during day games, going 3-5 with a 4.60 ERA! Any time you can get the Brewers with Priester pitching at an at a medium dog price, you have to take it on principal as this team is 84-52 overall. Play Milwaukee...........

-The Phillies come into tonight's game winners of 11 of 13 home games and stand at 44-22 in that catagory. The Braves, meanwhile, are just 28-41 on the road and a money-burning -$2761! The Phills are planning on starting stud LHP Cristopher Sanchez who is 11-6 with an ERA of 2.66 this season. In addition, he is a perfect 5-0 with and ERA of 2.38 at home with 87 K's in just 72 innings pitched and an OBA of just .206. In addition, he is 2-0 vs Atlanta this year and in his last outing vs them he shut them out on just 2 hits in 6 IP with 8 K's. Meanwhile, Atlanta starts LHP Chris Sale who hasnt pitched since June 18th. I expect him to be a bit rusty and "may" be on a pitch count. In the other game, the Reds start their staff ace LHP Andrew Abbott who has an 8-4 overall record with an ERA of just 2.62. In addition, he is 4-2 at home with an ERA of 2.01! He has a perfect 3-0 record vs St. Louis, including 2 wins this year where he gave up only 1 ER on 7 hits in 11 IP. Meanwhile, St louis start RHP Mike McGreavy who has an ERA of 4.43 on the year. In his last 3 outings, he is 2-1 but has allowed 11 ER's in only 18 IP for an ERA of 5.50. Play Philadelphia and Cincinnati in a parlay.......

San Diego comes into tonight's game still only 2 games behind the Dodgers in the NL West and start their ace Nick
Pivetta who is 13-4 on the season with an ERA of 2.82. Although he is better at home, he is still very good on the road with a 6-2 record and an ERA of 3.17. In his last 3 starts, he is 2-1, allowing just 4 ER's in 18 2/3 IP for an ERA of 1.93 and 22 k's! Meanwhile, the Twins are just 61-73 on the season, a money-burning proposition of -$1758! Tonight, they start late replacement Mick Abel who has an overall ERA of 6.43 and a home ERA of 7.36, giving up 7 HR's in just 14 2/3 IP! The motivated Padres should have no problem covering the run line in this contest.

Please check back in the late afternoon/evening for additional plays

My books are also showing Bradley

Well...........Hell!! My book changed back again. Yes guys, still a play! Bradley is an even "worse" option for Twins. One of my favorite go-against pitchers! He is just 6-7 overall with an ERA of 4.95 and even WORSE at home wit ha 5.43 ERA! In his last 2 starts, he has allowed 11 ER's on 13 hits, 4 BB's in just 6 2/3 IP for an ERA of 14.85! and in his only start last year vs San Diego he took the loss giving up 8 ER's in just 2 1/3 IP in a 13-5 beatdown at home.
