Note: Cutting my # of plays way back until the playoffs. But I'm sure I'll find a few gems! This is from another thread: "all the teams that are in the playoff hunt have outrageous fave lines, but how can you take the underdogs who are playing for nothing? I've been trying to stick with games that involve 2 teams with something to play for but they are hard to find." There will be PLENTY of opportunities during the playoffs to make some serious units, so why "push" plays these last 2 days. I'm just not finding any plays that fit my criteria that aren't huge favorites and that's just not my style. Hope you guys agree with me! :smilies8

Played these overnight................

NY Yankees RL -110
-The Yankees come into today's game tied with Toronto for the lead in the AL East with 2 games remaining. They have won 6-straight and 9 of their last 10 games. Today, they start RHP Cam Schlittler who is 3-3 on the season with a 3.27 ERA and 75 k's in just 66 IP. In addition, he has a 2.61 ERA during the day and beat the Orioles already this year 7-1 allowing only 1 ER in 5 1/2 IP. Baltimore, meanwhile, is just 36-43 on the road and start RHP Tomoyuki Sugano who is 0-5 his last 5 starts with an ERA of 8.02. In 3 starts this year vs the Yankees he has allowed 7 ER's on 23 baserunners in just 11 2/3 IP for an ERA of 5.40 ERA and an opponents batting average of 3.46! Play the Yankees on the runline today..............

-The Reds are currently tied for the last wild card spot in the NL with the New York Mets so you can expect a full effort from them tonight. The Reds have won 8 of their last 11 games and tonight start LHP Andrew Abbott who has an ERA of 2.80 on the year and a record of 5-3 with an ERA of 3.31 on the road. In addition, in his last start he allowed 0 ER's in 5 IP! Tonight, Cinci faces the Brewers wo have been slumping lately going just 2-5 their last 7 games. Tonight, they start LHP Robert Gasser who has made only 1 start this year giving up 2 ER's while lasting only 3 IP. The Reds simply have more to play for and I like them tonight as a live underdog.
