Regular Season YTD: +182.01u
MLB Playoffs YTD: +19.19u

NY Yankees -150 (3x) and NY Yankees RL +115 (1x)
Yesterday, I was all over the Toronto Blue Jays, but despite the high price, i like the Yankees to even up the series. The Yankees start LHP Max Fried who has been outstanding this year, going 19-5 with a 2.86 ERA and a opponents batting average of just .223 and averaging just 1.59 walks per start. His splits are also very nice, going 11-3 on the road and and 9-3 during the day with a 2.80 ERA. His current form is also outstanding going 6-0 his last 7 starts with an ERA of 1.54 and his last 3 starts on the road, he is 3-0 with an ERA of 1.40! In addition, he won his last start vs Toronto giving up 3 runs in 7 IP for an ERA of 3.86 which is lower than Toronto scores (on average) per game at 4.96! As an added note, Toronto was only 35-33 during the day this season. Meanwhile, Toronto starts RHP Trey Yesavage who has only made 3 career starts. going 1-0 with and ERA of 3.21. But what is alarming is, in his 3 starts he has given up 20 baserunners in just 13 IP, and this is his first playoff start and, like most rookie pitchers, may be a bit overwhelmed. Play the NY Yankees SU for (3x) and NY Yankees RL for (1x)

Fried’s 2 games in Toronto this year both in July has yielded a loss and a no decision giving up 4 (all earned) in the first and 6 (4 earned in the 2nd) for an era of 6.38 in those 2 games with the Jays winning both games

Just adding this info as a caveat/banter
duly noted Canuck! but that was back in July when he was struggling and had an ERA of 5.54. I focus more on a pitcher's current form and you can't overlook what Fried has done lately. "His current form is also outstanding going 6-0 his last 7 starts with an ERA of 1.54 and his last 3 starts on the road, he is 3-0 with an ERA of 1.40!" What he did in July has no bearing on my play but thanks for the input. I'll take my chances on Fried vs the rookie pitcher.

Seattle +110 and Over 6 (2x)
-This is an epic matchup between 2 pitchers who are lights out right now, so I had to dig deeper. The Tigers start LHP Tarik Skubal who was 13-6 on the year with a 2.21 ERA. However, on the road, he was only 5-6 with an ERA of 2.93. More alarming is that Skubal was 0-2 this season vs Seattle with a 5.91! Meanwhile, Seattle starts RHP Luis Castillo who has an exceptional current form going 4-0 his last 4 starts with an ERA of 1.07! During the regular season, he was 2-0 vs Detroit but had an ERA of 3.75. This is an extremely low price for Skubal (even on the road) and I think the public will be all over Detroit. As far as the total goes, 6 is a very low number but these 2 teams are a combined 173-141 to the Over this season. In Skubal's last 15 starts, the total has gone over 6 11 times. Meanwhile, in Castillo's last 20 starts, 14 of those games went over the total of 6. Play Seattle and Over 6 for (2x)

Indeed it was and that's all I'm aiming for when I appear to disagree just back and forth and trying to land on the right side.

I am a big Jays fan for sure and that definitely gives me a bias, and I'm well aware but it also lends me some insight as well. I'm not delusional to think they'd sweep the yanks but 1 was hoping for 2 home game wins. Jays have always been the red headed step child of the AL east. Just glad to be realistically challenging the damned yankees :smilies16
