-I am aware that Toronto has been hot. but I can't over look the pitching of Texas' Nathan Eovaldi. He is 10-3 with a 1.71 ERA on the season and is even better on the road with an ERA of a miniscule 1.26 with an OBA of just .194! Except for 1 bad inning against the D-backs, he is a remarkable 7-0 his last 6 starts giving up only 2 ER's in 38 2/3 IP for an ERA of 0.47. The Blue Jays come into this game with a very pedestrian record of 24-25 during the day and start RHP Jose Berrios who can be hot and cold and is an abysmal 2-3 with a 5.89 ER in day games giving up TWELVE HR's in just 47 1/3 IP! Play the Rangers to steal one from the Jays behind Eovaldi.

Man you're good with words, these writeups are pure poetry. I was looking into the numbers tonight ready to bet a Jays sweep but I could not, no matter how much I wanted to as I came to the conclusion as you. Eovaldi has always been a Jays killer.

Cleveland/Houston +210
-Although the Braves have had some success of late, they are still a miserable 25-38 on the road (a negative proposition of -$2675!) Today, they start Erick Fedde who has been terrible this year with a 5.40 ERA an has been even worse on the road going just 1-8 with a 5.12 ERA. He is only 1-3 in his last 4 starts, he has given up 17 ER's on 20 hits and 9 BB's in just 18 IP for an ERA of 8.50! Meawhile, Cleveland starts LHP Logan Allen, who has a decent ERA of 3.84 this season. He is 3-0 in his last 3 starts giving up 5 ER in 17 IP for an ERA of 2.65! Meanwhile, the Braves are just 15-25 on the road and hitting .235 vs lefties. In the other game, Houston has won 4 of their last 5 games an start RHP Cristian Javier who in his first start of the year, got the win giving up 2 ER in 6 IP. It looks like he picked up where he left off in his outstanding career where he went 33-18 with a sub 3.50 ERA! Meanwhile the Orioles are just 26-37 on the road this year. Starter Dean Kremer is just 3-6 on the road this year with a bloated ERA of 5.82.

Milwaukee -105
-What more is there to say in this one? The Milwaukee Brewers come into todays game with the best record in baseball at 78-44. They have won 14 in a row and an astounding 28-4 their last 32 games! The Brewers start LHP Jose Quintana with an excellent record of 10-4 with a 3.44 ERA. On the road, he is 7-1 with a 2.40 ERA and has won 3 straight from the Reds giving up just 3 ER's in 19 1/3 IP for an ERA of 1.42! In addition, the Reds hit are only 2-5 their last 7 vs lefty starts and hit just .227 (20 pts lower than against RHP) Meanwhile, the Reds start LHP Andrew Abbott who is having a good season himself, but looking further, he has struggled in his last 2 starts, going 0-2 giving up 7 ER's in 14 2/3 IP for an ERA of 4.30. He already lost to the Brewers this year 9-1 (at home) giving up 5 ER's in 6 IP Finally, Milwaukee crushes lefties to the tune of a .272 batting average. Play Milwaukee to continue their streak!
