Put these in overnight.......

Houston -115
-Houston looks to avoid the sweep vs Boston this morning and it's very hard to sweep a good team (and Houston is one of them). The Astros start LHP Framber Valdez who is a nice 11-4 with an ERA of 2.62 on the year. But the key stat with Valdez is: The Astros are 13-1 in his starts dating back to May 7th. His only loss came in his last start where he allowed 1 ER on 3 hits with 12 strikeouts in a tight 2-1 game vs the Nats. His current form is excellent, going 4-1 his last 5 starts with an ERA of just 1.74. In addition, he is a perfect 3-0 vs the Red Sox in his career. Boston starts RHP Lucas Giolito who is having a fine season himself, but he is not good at home with an ERA of 4.84. In addition, he is 0-3 lifetime vs Houston in his career. Look for Houston and Valdez to avoid the sweep this morning.

NY Mets RL +140
-This is basically a play against the fading Giants and thier starting pitcher Carson Whisenhunt. The Giants are just 1-7 their last 8 games and have dropped to 1 game under .500 in the NL West. Today, they start LHP Carson Whisenhunt who is making only his 2nd start of his career. In his first start, he was shelled for 4 ER in just 5 IP in a loss to Pittsburgh. The Mets come into this game a very supurb 38-17 record home and winning 6 of their last 7 at home. The Mets start RHP Frankie Montas, who despite a few rough starts is 2-0 at home with an ERA of just 3.21. The Giants simply cant hit on the road, logging in a batting average of just .232 If Montas stays according to form at home, the Mets should have no problem pulling away in this one. Play NY Mets on the runline.

Toronto/Chi Cubs +160
-In the first game, Toronto looks to take the series from the Royals. The Jays are an awesome 38-18 at home while the Royals are a very pedestrian 27-28 on the road. The Jays start RHP Chris Bassett who is 4-0 his last 4 starts for an ERA of just 2.49. Furthermore, Bassitt is a perfect 8-0 at home this season with a nice ERA of 2.45, a stat that is hard to ignore. In the 2nd game, the Cubs look to take the series from the O's and start RHP Colin Rea who is 8-5 this season and is 4-3 at home with an ERA of 4.13. The O's start RHP Brandon Young who is 0-5 with a huge ERA of 6.63. In addition, Young is 0-2 during the day giving up 13 ER's on 20 hits, 8 BB's and FIVE HR' in just 13 IP! I like the better team with the better pitcher to take the series in each game at a very nice under dog price.

Minnesota/Cleveland Over 8
-I believe that this number is a tad too low. Cleveland starter Joey Cantillo has an overall ERA of 4.57 and at home he has an ERA of nearly 5 in 10 appearances (1 start) Minnesota pitcher Jose Urena has an ERA of 8.53 in his last 5 appearances dating back to last year, with all 5 going over the total. On the road this season, he has a 6.97 ERA and during the day he is even worse. Urena has an era of 9.72 in 4 apperances this year, giving up 9 ER's on 14 hits, 4 walks and FIVE HR's in just 8 1/2 IP in day games. This game flies over the total. Play the Over.

Please check back soon for additional plays.

G/L to all......................

you're absolutely right… But Sox can do nothing wrong, they trade Devers for 4 shit Bums, the fan base goes crazy… And they catch fire going 33-17 over the last 50. Then they do absolutely nothing at the deadline, fans go crazy again… Cursing owner Henry, and Sox just keep winning.

not having good luck with my write-ups last few days. Thought that this was a gimme.
You were on target with your write up, Boston is playing way above their heads. Cora has this team believing in themselves. They only have one legitimate starter (Crochett). I will say this, they have 2 players that have kicked around MLB not being able to stick with any club, Romy Gonzalez and Rob Refsnyder… Cora has been using these 2 against LHP, and they absolutely crush it.
