Miami (Garrett) vs Minnesota (Matthews) Over 8.5 (1x)
-Today's game features 2 pitchers making their first start of 2026. The Marlins start RHP Braxton Garrett who last pithed in 2024 when he went 2-2 with an ERA of 5.87. Meanwhile, the Twins start Zebby Matthews who is 6-10 in his career with a 5.92 ERA. Miami is 24-17 to the over this year, while Minnesota is 27-15 to the Over. Last night's game featured 14 runs and the Twin's bullpen was used for 6 innings. The Twins have scored 202 runs this season, good for 2nd in the AL, while Miami has scored 22 runs in their last 3 games. History tells us that this game will go over the total so I'm gonna stick with the over again..........

Seattle (Castillo) vs Houston (Burrows) Over 8.5 (1x)
-Both of these teams feature starting pitchers who are struggling. Seattle starts Luis Castillo who looks awful in 2026, sits at 0-4 with a 6.57 ERA and is worse on the road, going 0-4 with an ERA of 9.50. In his start back on April 11th of this year vs the Astros, he gave up 7 ER's on 10 hits in just 3 1/3 IP in an eventual 8-7 Mariners win. Meanwhile, Houston starter Mike Burrows has been a mess this year, going 2-4 with a 5.04 ERA overall and a 5.75 ERA at home. In his only start this year vs Seattle, he gave up 6 ER's on 11 hits in 6 IP. Play the Over in Seattle/Houston.

St Louis (McGreevy) +100 over Oakland (Lopez) (2x)
-The Cardinals currently sit at 24-18 in the NL Central 2 1/2 games behind the Chicago Cubs. They are 14-8 on the road and 14-7 vs teams above .500. Meanwhile, the A's are 22-20, good for first place in the awful AL West. They are an even 9-9 at home and 6-8 vs teams above .500. Today, the Cards start RHP Michael McGreevy who sports an overall ERA of 2.18 so far this year. In his last 3 starts, he is 2-0 with a 0.50 ERA, giving up 1 ER and 9 hits in 18 IP. Meanwhile, A's starter Jacob Lopez comes into today's game with a 6.11 ERA. Lopez has been even worse at home, going 0-1 with an ERA of 6.78.

Boston (Suarez) -102 over Philadelphia (Luzardo) (2x)
-Both of these teams have gone though managerial changes in 2026 and the Phillies have made a complete turn around, winning 7 of 10 and sitting at just 3 games under .500. Despite the Phills recent accomplishments, I like Boston to take this one this evening. Red Sox starter Ranger Suarez (a former Philly) has been outstand as of late, going 2-1 in his last 5 starts with an ERA of 1.17, allowing 0 runs in 4 of the 5 games. The Philadelphia Phillies have shown significant early-season struggles against left-handed starting pitchers, holding a 2-10 record. Meanwhile, Phills starter Jesus Luzardo has been terrible in 2026 coming in with a 5.77 ERA allowing 61 base runners in 43 2/3 IP. In his only start in 2025 vs Boston, he gave up 6 ER's in 5 IP, taking the loss. Play the Boston Red Sox this evening..........
