Toronto/Detroit Under 9
-The Detroit Tigers come into this game going just 1-9 it's last 10 games and have been in a major offensive funk, scoring just 26 runs in this 10 game span, an average of just 2.6 runs per game. They start RHP Reese Olson, who is in a nice current form, with a nice ERA of 2.22 his last 5 games, going 3-1-1 to the under. Toronto has been excellent of late winning 6 of 7. Jays' will start LHP Eric Lauer who has allowed just 6 ER's in his last 3 games, a span of 26 IP. He has gone under in his last 2 appearences vs the Tigers and has a good road record of 3-2 with an ERA of 3.00 with 4 of 6 of these starts going under the total. I think the total of 9 is a tad too high and its going to take 10 runs to beat us. Play the under.
Houston -125
-The Astros come into this game with the A's winners of 4 straight and an outstanding record of 33-19 at home this season, a positive proposition of +1266. They are 60-42 overall and lead the AL West by 6 games. Houston starts RHP Jason Alexander who in his 1 start this year back on June 17 got the win allowing 2 runs in 6 innings pitched as the Astros THRASHED the A's 13-3 (in Oakland) and didnt allow allow a run until the 7th inning. Now he gets a rematch except this time he pitches at home against the A's who are just 42-62 on the year being outscored by almost a run and a 1/2! Oakland starts RHP Luis Severino who is just 3-11 on the year with a high ERA of 5.10 and furthermore has poor recent form, going just 1-4 his L5 with an ERA of 7.94! Severino is also 0-3 his last 3 starts against the Astros (including 0-2 this year.)
LA Angels -110
-The Seattle Mariners come into tonight's game losers of 3 of 4 and scored just 6 runs total in those 4 games. Seattle starts RHP Logan Evans who's current form is not great, going 2-3 with and ERA of 4.28. But, looking further into his current form, he is 0-2 his last 2 road games giving up 10 runs on 18 hits in just 9 2/3 innings pitched. Overall, he is terrible on the road going 0-3 with an ERA of nearly 6 giving up SIX Hr's in just 24 1/2 IP. The Angels return home tonight after a 6-game road trip and start LHP Yusei Kikuchi who is excellent at home this year going 4-1 with an ERA under 2 at 1.98. This game looks like a complete pitching mismatch at a very low price. Take the Angels.
