At home, he had been excellent going 4-1 with a miniscule ERA of just 1.93. In addition, he has pitched against Atlanta once already this year, throwing 5 all innings of shutout ball allowing only 4 hits and 0 walks while striking out 8! Atlanta, on the other hand, has been an absolute disaster this season, standing at just 19-35 SU, a losing proposition of -2950! They have lost 9 of 11 games and tonight start RHP Carlos Carrasco who hasnt made a start since April 30th and comes in at 2-2 with an ERA of 5.94! he is 0-2 on the road with a bloated ERA of 9.26. In his 3 road starts, he is 0-2 allowing a staggering 12 ER's on 20 hits and FIVE HR's on just 11 2/3 innings pitched! To put cap on this game, Atlanta hits only .230 vs lefties. This is a rather large price to pay but I can't see the Reds and Abbott losing this one. Play Cincinnati...........
