Made a couple plays overnight........

Philadelphia RL +100
-The Phillies come into tonight's contest vs Boston with a nice home record of 32-18 and start LHP Christopher Sanchez who is 8-2 on the season with a 2.50 ERA. He is a perfect 3-0 this year at home and has excellent current form, giving up just 5 ER's in 35 1/3 IP for an ERA of just 1.27! Meanwhile, the Red Sox have lost 3 of 4 games and in their 3 losses having scored just 3 runs. They have a poor road record of just 22-28 and start RHP Richard Fitts who is just 1-3 on the year with an ERA of 4.28 and has given up SEVEN HR's in just 30 2/3 IP. Look for the Phillies to open this game up early and win going away.

Cleveland/ChiCubs +144
-Cleveland comes into this game with Baltimore having won 8 of 10 while Baltimore is just 1-5 their last 6 and are a huge losing proposition on the road at -1082. Baltimore starts RHP Brandon Young, who in his last 5 starts, his team has gone 0-5 with a massive ERA of 7.66! In the other game between the Cubs and the Royals, the Cubs are now 1 game back of the Brewers in the NL Central. Despite losing last night, Chicago is still a formidable 32-18 at home outscoring their opponents by almost 1 1/2 runs. The Cubs start lefty Matthew Boyd who has been outstanding as of late, going 4-1 with an ERA of just 1.16, including 3 games where he allowed 0 runs. The Royals start 45-year-old Rich Hill whom they picked off the scrap heap. This will be Hill's first start since 2023 and look for the Cubs to torch this guy. Play Cleveland and the Cubs in a parlay paying a nice underdog price.

Please check back later for more plays.

G/L to all............

Toronto -125
-The Jays come into this game with the Yankees having won 11 straight home games (5 of them against the Yankees) and stand at a nice 36-16 at home overall, a winning proposition of 1517! The Yankees are a very pedestrian 25-26 on the road this season. Toronto starts RHP Max Scherzer who has won his last 3 starts, one of them against the Yankees back on June 30th. The Yankees counter with RHP Cam Schlittler who is making only his 2nd major league start and first on the road. To his credit, he won his first start (at home) but looking closer, he only pitched 5 1/3 Innings allowing 4 ER and giving up 2 homers. He was the recipient of 9 runs of run support as the Yanks shelled Seattle's Logan Evans who has had a awful last 15 days going 0-2 allowing 8 ER's on 15 hits and 2 homers in just 8 1/3 innings pitched.

San Diego +120
-This is a game where im going to throw "most" of the stats and trends out the window and go with the surging Padres, who have won 7 of 10 and are just 3.5 games back of the Dodgers in the NL West. The Padres start RHP Stephen Kolek who, to his credit, is a MUCH better on the road, posting a 2-1 record and an ERA of just 2.06 this season. The Marlins start RHP Edward Cabrera, who is having a decent season, but has lost his last 2 starts. Just like last night, I look for the Padres and Kolek to step it up against a team that is just 5-5 it's last 10 and a record of just 22-30 at home.

Detroit/Pittsburgh Under 8
-The Tigers come into this game on a 3-7 slide and are just not hitting the ball, scoring just 3 runs in it's last 4 games. The Pirates start RHP Mitch Keller who has gone 11-1-1 to the Under in his last 13 starts. Keller also has very nice current form, posting an ERA of just 1.76 his last 5 starts. I mentioned Detroit's offensive woes and the Pirates aren't much better, scoring just 24 runs in his their last 10 games! Now, they face Casey Mize, who is the Tigers best pitcher not named Skubal. Throw out his last start where he gave up 1 big inning and he is gone 4-0 with a ERA of just 1.82! These are 2 struggling offenses going up against 2 good pitcher and I just dont see where the runs are going to come from. It's going to take 9 runs to beat us so the under is the play.
