Baltimore +145
-In what looks like a pitching mismatch, you have to dig further into these 2 pitchers current form. Philly LHP Ranger Suarez has an iffy current form, with and ERA of 4.40 in his last 5 starts. He has an overall ERA of 4.21 during the day this year. Baltimore, meanwhile starts LHP Trevor Rogers who is 4-2 with a nice ERA of 1.42 ERA in 9 starts. In his last 5 starts, he has an ERA of an astounding 1.05. In addition, the Phillies are only 12-19 vs left-handed starters, a negative proposition of -1380. In Rogers' last 2 starts, he has allowed just 1 ER on 5 hits in 15 innings pitched with 19 k's! Also, Rogers' was 2-0 vs Philadelphia last year! Finally, the Phillies 2 big hitters (Schwarber and Harper) are a combined 7 for 35 vs Rogers with 0 HR's (an average of just .200) lifetime vs Rogers.

Cleveland/NY Mets under 8
-This is a relatively low number for a total, but I believe that the current form of both pitchers warrents it. The Mets start lefty David Peterson who is a nice 7-4 this year with an ERA of 2.83 ERA. He is a perfect 4-0 at home with a miniscule ERA of 2.00, and has an ERA of just 2.25 during the day. He has gone Under in his last 5 starts and is 9-2 to the under in his 11 home starts this year. In addition, the Guardians hit just .225 against lefties. Meanwhile, Cleveland will be starting RHP Gavin Williams who has a 1.80 ERA in his last 5 starts. In addition he has a 2.01 ERA in his 11 starts during the day. Finally, the Mets aren't hitting, scoring just 13 runs in their last 5 games (an avg of just 2.6 runs/game). This looks like a 3-2 type of game and I recommend playing the Under...............

Cincinnati +125
-The Reds come into this game winners of 3 of their last 4 and start LHP Andrew Abbott who has been excellent so far this year going 8-1 with an ERA of just 2.15. He has been great on the road with a perfect 4-0 record and an ERA of 2.28. Furthermore, he's a perfect 3-0 vs the Cubs in his career (including 2 wins this year,), giving up only 2 ER and 12 hits in 17 2/3 IP. Meanwhile, the Cubs have lost 3 of 4 and start RHP Cade Horton who is a decent 5-3 with a 3.43 ERA but is just 3-3 at home with an ERA of 5.19 The Cubs have actually lost money vs lefties this year. Play the Reds as a live dog!

Please check back later for additional plays

G/L to all................

LA Angels +103
-gonna make this short and sweet. This is basically a play against Tampa Bay starter Shane Baz and the Rays themselves. Tampa has lost 8 of 10 and fading fast in the AL East (11 games behind Toronto). Rays starter Shane Baz has been absolutely awful as of late, losing 6 straight and a 0-5 record his last 5 with a bloated ERA of 6.42. In addition, he has already lost to the Halos this year. Play the Angels.....

Milwaukee +110
- I don't get this line at all. The Brewers come into tonight's game winners of 8 of 9 and currently 3.5 games ahead of the Cubs in the NL Central. Milwaukee starts LHP Jose Quintana who is 8-4 on the year with an ERA of 3.50. In addition, Quintana is 6-1 on the road with a 2.41 ERA. The Braves are absolutely atrocious this year, with a 47-65 record, a negative proposition of -$3127. Atlanta starts RHP Spencer Strider who has had an up and down season, going just 5-8 with an ERA of 3.71. He is just 2-3 his last 5 starts. furthermore, the Braves hit just .232 vs lefthanded pitching.

Ex Braves season ticket holder here from the Avery, Smoltz, Glavine, (Ebony and) Avery days. Hate to see how things have turned south lately...Freeman agent botching deal to LA, rumors of Acuna trade...think trade is unlikely, will cry if it does...he's my favorite current player......like the pick tonight and riding along side.

Can you imagine going into Atlanta back then for a 3 game set knowing you had Maddux, Glavin and Smoltzy to deal with. Then Wohlers out of the pin. What a slump starter.

Crazy they didn't win more titles...I had a friend who worked for the Braves and me and a couple buddies decided to get tickets before the All Star break in 1991 as tix were aplenty. Braves down 9.5 at the break and won division on the last day leading to their historic run. With that rotation they should have won more...like my idol Dean Smith....Anyway...sorry for hijacking the thread JR....had a quick trip down memory lane....More importantly, hope you are feeling well Boomer and look forward to your Saturday picks around the corner.
