alot of games on saturday, staying close to home with these picks.
pepperdine +11 vs. ok st. waves have more than enough to keep it close. small play
cal -2.5 vs. unlv bears have been unimpressive so far but like the small number with this veteran team. med. play
portland st. vs. utep -9 miners are much better team and tough, loud crowd. small play
san jose st. +12 vs. cal poly spartans are more athletic and start all jr./sr. too many points. small play
sac st. +6.5 vs. c.s. fullerton no home crowd adv. and titans have lost 5 potential starters since summer + pugh umass transfer is excelling. med. play
leans: no play yet
portland- return 5 starters, very good passing team
arizona st.- excellant team
santa clara-heard fresno coach lopes is benching 2-3 starters...

i have a feelings were going to make a lot of money on pepperdine this year, but that game tomorrow scares me. the one thing pepperdine struggles with is physical play. waves are all about the fast break and getting up and down the floor. with osu being one of the most physical teams in the country, i think pepperdine could really struggle. hope you hit it. would like to see pepperdine have a good showing but tough test for them.

also, keep me posted on that fresno info. i actually played fresno as my only play so far. im not going to sweat it if a guy or two doesnt start. most coaches make their statement and then get their guys in there by the first media timeout. any clue on what the deal was there?
