So Fl -2 over Rutgers ******* strong play

Love this game.Think RU is in trouble.Rice had a big game against the cuse last week but everyone has bottled him up big time this year.Teel is a terrible qb.Always has been.Very inconsistent and is playing with a sore thumb. He has 2 big time WR's in Underwood and Brett. Also RU has a pretty solid OL but against good teams they get over powered.Maryland and Cincinatti manhandled both lines on defense and offense.More so on defense.Rutgers needs Rice and it's running game.USF defense has 2 top CB's in Jenkins and Williams. They will be the best db's the RU wr's have seen all year and LB moffet is a monster.I think USF will emphasize stopping Rice and let Teel do his damage. But USF also has one of the best DE's in the country in Selvie .USF is much quicker and more athletic.
SF on offense has Grothe..wow. he can throw or run..he leads the team in rushing.Grothe will dictate the offense and cause RU's defense big time problems.SF OL will play some power football.RU's DL will get pushed back like the Terps and Bearkats did to them.
RU will have to many turnovers on offense.Teel and co will try to force the ball.
SF is the better team...more athletic, bigger, quicker, and wins this game by 10-14 pts.. RU this yr beat Buffalo,Navy,Norfolk St and the Cuse. There 2 games vs decent teams Cincy and Maryland they lost. SF beat Auburn,NC,WV,and UCF.
Again the weather is nice here in the tri-state area.RU needed a cold october nite...
So Florida wins big...

Box,

Good luck on your pick. I tend to agree So Fla is the right side but for different reasons.

For me, the red flag against Rutgers is their performance off a bye week. Two consecutive home loss / no covers......and both of these by hefty margins.

Then last week....after being down 14-0, the subsequent shutout win / cov @ Syracuse was commendable but not convincing enough for me.

Being nationally televised, I think Rutgers might put up a fight, but So Fla is rock solid with too much, too often.

I've been wrong before.

We'll see.

chadman..think we're on the right side tonite
coach burns..how are you doing? is the jet motel still there in crossville..
buddy..I agree with you on those bye weeks.
Bulls have not allowed a 100 yd rusher since they lost to RU lyr 22-20 where rice had 220 yds.Thats 14 straight games...
RU lost Leonard and there TE Harris .This was such an important part of there offense.
Now they have to rely more on there QB.And Selvie and co are coming at the.

Hate to be going against you tonight Box. Either way I think this is going to be a great game.

Got a lot on it. Win or lose it will be fun. Thats a lot easier to say since I've had 2 solid weeks back to back.

Good luck the rest of the week but hope you take a loss tonight. HA!

Rutgers going to be "chopping wood" all night!

Otoh, shutting down Syracuse for 3 and a half quarters is a credit to the Rutgers coaching staff and Schiano & Co. are not stupid. They may have something up their sleeve. There are pros and cons on each side of this equation. GL to all.
