Don't think so. First string QB out. Friday they announce if second stringer will be allowed to practice. Third string QB against a very good Caro offense. Give me the points and ML Caro.

Haven't seen him around town this week. So don't know if his cast is off yet. No word from my Baylor friends either. I don't think he's going to be ready for contact soon though.

Line has moved 6.5 points. NC now favored by 3.5 Since this is my biggest bet of the bowls, do I buy back some or let it ride?

If it were me i would buy back....Personally i do not have very much luck with lines that move this much...GL whichever way you choose....

The original line was a joke. Maybe I am delusional but I am not a homer. Carolina is very underrated. Yes the Coastal sucked- but this team is for real. Offense can put up points in a hurry and despite the defense giving up yardage- they are stout in the red zone and they were #1 in the country in preventing big plays before the ACC Championship.

We played Clemson relatively close despite playing like shit. And if not for the end of 1H and beginning of 2H possessions we could have won that game. (Clemson is very over-rated, though, IMO).

So you are telling me that when the line came out, Baylor had little chance of even having their 2nd string QB back- and they open 3 pt favs? Crazy. I loaded up on Carolina ML at the time and am letting it ride. Perhaps I am just way wrong on this but I don't get it. Even now- down to their 3rd string QB, missing their AA receiver AND RB with 1300 yards and Carolina is only 3 pt favorites? Crazy. This is a big game to the program, I don't think they take it lightly.

I have to say that as a casual observer of college foots this year(i.e.,non-gambler with the exception of maybe one or two follows)I happened to see a few Carolina games this year and I was really impressed....the offense is very dangerous, well balanced and applies constant pressure on opposing defenses.....of course Baylor`s is even more prolific but from what I`m reading they`re down to their 3rd string qb....

still,i made a mental note to play them in bowl season(I`ll probably just tease them or par the moneyline with something else...I`m not laying 4 with a team that gave up over 2800 rushing yards this year vs this caliber offense)...looks like Carolina`s best team in years...

impressive offensive team(particularly if their qb is on)....of course,i thought the steelers would beat the ravens like a drum,so theres that....one of the games I consider a "can`t miss" from a fan`s perspective...should be fun to watch....

Every time I've thought a game was this strong I've lost. So I fully expect to lose. But it's the biggest play I've ever made. Not happy joe public is on UNc...makes me hesitant. I can play baylor ML now and guarantee a small profit but I am going to let it ride.

I still don't trust the tarheel defense, and believe Baylor is going to hang a large number on them. the question is can Carolina keep up?

maybe it`s me,but it looks like the Baylor offense is basically the guy playing qb takes the snap, holds for a beat and then runs it up the middle...

nc coaching staff can`t adjust to that?

Seriously. Bunch of idiots. I've never seen such pathetic defense being played.

remember heels had one of the worst d country and started over. made significant improvements this year but acc really had a down year and Carolina o put up a lot of points most of the time. they haven't seen anything close to the athleticism of Baylor (ys not even Clemson. baylors offensive line is awesome. youre right gardenweasel, bears are running a basic wildcat offense and just pushing the heels around.

On October 15, 1988 Oklahoma rushed for 768 yards on 72 carries against Kansas State.

You can view the NCAA record book at http://www.ncaafootball.net

I think that might be the single team ncaa div 1 record..Baylor on pace for around 700..a few big runs and it`s not out of the question....
