Chris Harn, the mastermind behind the whole Pick 6 scandal gets a mere one year in a minimum security prison for what was multi million dollar fraud. This sentence seems ridulously small to me; he actually got less time than the other two despite the fact he masterminded the scheme. I'm guessing the people involved in Enron or Worldcom will be getting far more than 1 year in condo/jail.

Valuist, lets face it. Who were Harns and his cohorts stealing from. The track gets their money before the payout. The gov`t gets their share, so when it comes right down to it they were only cheating folks like you and myself and all the other gamblers around the country. In Enrons case they are stealing peoples hard earned money and life savings and investments. Thats why just a slap on the wrist for these guys. When have us gamblers ever deserved consideration and respect. It`s a sad thing, but thats the way it is, and i don`t think it will ever change my friend.

Have a good day, Skanoochies.:( :( :(

You're exactly right. They were stealing from other gamblers. But that doesn't make it right, either. Multi-million dollar fraud is still multi million dollar fraud, and in this case, the punishment didn't fit the crime.
