A friend of mine owns Ruby's Reception which is currently sitting at 15-1. RR likes running along the rail, so gate position could be critical. I like her chances to win the race if she is within 5 lengths of the leader making the final turn. Her talent is in finishing and with this race being moved to 1 1/16 this year, her chances are only improved. I hope she continues to get very little press keeping her prices at a good lick for us.

If anyone has any specific questions about her, I will do my best to answer them.

Good luck!

BTW, where the best place to get track odds for the BC racecard.

Thanks,

I like either Ruby or Westerly Breeze (or both) in the exacta, they would need to improve a lot for the win and beat a very legit favorite...
But it's horse racing, it can be done.

Good luck.

Ruby can definitely pick up the pieces for the underneath part of the exacta. I really don't think anyone will beat Storm Flag Flying, but these are 2 YO fillies and its a new distance, so stranger things have happened. I may just go with the Storm Flag-Ruby's Reception exacta.

Thanks for the clarification.

I think the longer the race, the more it improves Ruby's chances. I will have money on her, but it's like me betting on Georgia to beat Tennessee. It's a lot of heart and hoping the things that could go right, do.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's write-ups about all of the races tomorrow.

Good luck!

Dawgball: Current odds are available at NTRA.com or Equibase.com.

For me: Looks like Santa Catarina with Bailey aboard in post #1

Current odds: 4-1

Will probably toss Ruby in on an exacta.

Seems like SFF is odds-on lock with speed favoring (per Valuist comment). Using wheel of Hum Lady, Ruby's R, and Buffy underneath in EX and Tri.
