I really think in the end the BCS worked out for the championship game. I don't really care to see Bama play LSU again but IMO they got the top 2 teams in the game and that's what it was made to do. I can see an arguement saying Okie State should be 2 but they should have won and then you don't have to worry. It's kind of like a fighter letting it go to the score cards.

My main bitch and it's a big one. If you go to your conference championship game it shouldn't put you below someone that didn't go if you lose. There is no way in hell Michigan deserves a BCS game over State. I don't know how to handle that loss for teams but it doesn't make sense to me that a loss counts against you when you earned the chance more than all of the other teams in your division. I know a loss is a loss but it's pretty messed up.

I know it would end up screwing Bama if we had this system but IMO if you can't make it to your conference championship game then you don't deserve a BCS bowl game and the money it brings. I say this because of Michigan not Bama.

I agree. I would rather see Ok St play LSU, but Alabama and LSU are the best teams in the country.

One of the shortcomings of the BCS system is that it makes so many games irrelevant, like exhibition games. It eliminates the Cinderella team. A playoff, even a 4 team playoff, would make more ga.es meaningful.

Alabama beats LSU this time. More points will be scored. 24-17 or something like that. Should be exciting. Everyone should decide now to make the most of it and enjoy the clash between two of the best defenses in the history of college football.
