I usually wait till gameday to make some picks, but im taking this now before the line possibly goes up. Bears are a good team and there record doesn't show for it. I know they beat the Packers as their only win, but still a win is a win. the lost to the Lions,Vikings and Eagles and they were in most of the those games to the bitter end. difference that I see is just the offense. I hate to say it, but I think Thomas Jones is the better running back right now. Portis has fumbled 7 times this year, even though he has only lost 3 of those, but still thats at least 1 a game. Bears loving giving the ball to Jones on 3rd and 1 situations. Jones is 4-4 on those situations, where Portis is 3 for 6. Greatest stat I love is the Bears coming off of a bye week. They are 10-5 coming off of a bye week, thats 5th best % in the leagues right now. Washington's offense just looks horrible and I admit that the Bears isn't the greatest either, but Quinn should be a bit more comfortable in his 2nd start of the season. Bears are 0-2 at home and trust me the Bears are dying for a win at home, since last year they were 6-2. Coach Smith has really convinced these guys they can win the division still, and hell why not, they are only 2 games out. Smith has told his players that they played the first quarter of the season and hey we got 3 more to go, lets finish strong.
It looks like the Bears could possibly getting some old-pro bowl players back to. Azumah was practicing with the Nickel Defense this week and he is a great punt returner if they need one. All pro Center Olin Kruetz has been practicing and could play. And even Ruben Brown could be back as well for the bears at guard. Should be a good game, or ugly, but im going with the Bears
