Believe it or not..Syracuse is the play of the week!

As a WVU alumnus, I am very familiar with this series. Syracuse has thorughly dominated this match up over the last decade.

WVU qb Rasheed Marshall simply does not pose a downfield threat to opposing defenses. I expect Syracuse to load the box and force Marshall to beat them...much like Maryland did (I warned everyone about that). Syracuse will force 3rd and longs and then blitz the hell out of Marshall, who usually has the deer in the headlights look.

WVU may win...but, no way they cover the 7 point spread. If WVU wins it will be a very close game. You have been warned.

Well I live two blocks from the dome in Syracuse, save your money take WVU. This team is the worst team to ever come through these parts and they could put 14 men in the box and not stop the run. Little Rhode Island whom we killed ran for 267 yards against us we won 63-17 but RI fumbled 3 times in the first half inside the Cuse 20 Syracuse is horrible. Last night Coach P said we have alot of talent well it cant be on this team he cant even talk and he recruits these guys. I venture to say this is the last season for coach P, I hope

Actually, it sounds like both of you have pointed out the weaknesses in the teams you know without looking into the strengths/weaknesses of the other side. That can be handicapping hell.

One thing is certain here: if you bet like you post, one of you is going to end up paying the vig this week.

AS far as I see I pointed out the obvious weakness Syracuse cannot stop the run, West Virginia runs very well PLAY WVU

Reminds me of the Wisconsin/Virginia game last year. What happened? It damn near landed on the number as UW won 26-17 as -10.
