Support NY racing; A great card to bet anyways with the Vosburgh, Jerome, Ashley Cole and Noble Damsel stakes. The Pic 4 will either be on 7 thru 11 or 6 thru 10. In either event, it will include the Vosburgh, Jerome and Noble damsel. Burning Roma looks like a single to me.

Like La Ronde in the Noble Damsel. Coming in from So Calif, where she faced better, she closed to run 2nd behind Tranquility Lake, who walked on the lead. Squirtle Squirt will be favored in the Vosburgh but I'm not sure he'll like the deeper Belmont track. And 6f, not 7f is probably his best distance. Some other nice sprinters in there: Alannan, Peeping Tom, Left Bank. The Jerome is a bit disappointing, w/only 5 entrants. I'm leaning toward Burning Roma, who raced well despite being put in tight quarters by Point Given in the Haskell. He has enough speed to be close, but doesn't insist on the lead. Also its Kentucky Cup day at Turfway. Like the card at the track a lot better than the College Football betting card tomorrow.

Placing these $1 tris at Belmont

Race 7 Ashley Cole Hcp
Liking a couple despite bad post, the 11 John Paul Too and # 13 No Bad Habits with a slight edge to the 11 who I have ranked 3rd in class is 3 for 6 lifetime at this distance and won or placed 5 of 6 this year.
will key the 11 in 1st and 2nd with the 3,4,8,13

Race 9 Noble Damsel
Huge field for this one and am leaning to the 10 Babae who has slight edge in class and also has won or placed 5 of 6 this year.
Liking the 8 Paga also. Will be running on lasix for 2nd time and Mandella has knack with these out of country shippers.
will key the 10 in 1st and 2nd with the 3,5,6,8

Race 10 Vosburgh
I too am hoping the 4 Squirtle Squirt comes up short and would like to see speed dual between him and Left Bank and let the closers make their run at em.
will key the 4 in 2nd and 3rd with the 5,6,7.
Good Luck

Dogs THat Bark--

I'm from suburban Chicago. Well aware of David Gall, however. When Fairmount would close, he'd come up here to Hawthorne. I used to love to bet Fairmount ship-ins here (still do) because 99% of the bettors here give them no chance. A sharp $3000 claimer would ship north and run for $4000 here. But the $4000 horses here would probably be worth only $3000. In other words, cashed a lot of overlaid tickets using this angle. I believe Gall retired from riding and is now training horses. He's got to be close to 60 years old now.
